It was only a few days ago when we posted a video received via our email showing the top speed run of the 2017 Modenas Pulsar NS200. This time around, we got our hands on yet another video of its fully fairing twin brother in action, the Modenas Pulsar RS200.
Those looking to get into the big bike scene without breaking the bank can opt for the aggressive yet smooth Pulsar RS200. Although the 200cc single-cylinder engine sounds like a slightly bigger choice compared to some high end kapcais or mopeds available in the Malaysian market, we truly believe that the Modenas Pulsar RS200 will indeed give a nice riding experience to most new and veteran bikers alike.
The video confirmed our theory that both the Bajaj-powered Modenas Pulsar RS200 and NS200 can reach a top speed of over 150km/h. In the previous video showing the top speed run of the naked NS200, we can see that the bike maxed out at 152km/h and it’s the same case with the RS200. No surprises here considering that both bikes have the same 200cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, fuel-injected engine with liquid cooling.
We also noticed in the video that the RS200 seemed to require less effort to reach that top speed as compared to the video of the naked NS200. The biggest factor contributing to this assumption and observation has to be the RS200’s aerodynamics especially the front fairing. We’ve tested both bikes and the review will be posted very, very soon. In the meantime, enjoy this video of submitted to us of the RS200 in action. Want to know more about the Modenas Pulsar RS200? CLICK HERE!
