Loyal readers, as well as die-hard Ducati fans, would know by know that this year’s edition of the bi-annual World Ducati Week (WDW in short) will be a very special one as it coincides with the famed brand’s 90th anniversary celebrations.

World Ducati Week 2016 (WDW 2016) takes place from July 1 to July 3 this year at the famed Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli and Ducati recently announced that tickets sales have begun with purchases available online too.

Tickets are priced from as low as €40 (visitor) and €50 (bikers) for one-day passes. Three-day passes, on the other hand, are priced at €45 exclusively for DOC members, €65 for regular visitors and €95 for visiting bikers. (Click here for full ticketing and price details)

With the ticket availability announcement, Ducati highlighted some of the key activities fans can look forward to during this year’s edition. One of which is the first ever large-scale Scrambler Reunion event.

This will be held in a special yellow-themed ‘Land Of Joy’ section that mimics the style and atmosphere of Venice Beach, California. Part of the inaugural Scrambler rally will include activities such as live music performances, test-rides, as well as a Scrambler Custom Rumble bespoke motorcycle competition – in short, hispters’ paradise ala Ducati.

Whilst the Scrambler Reunion will host Ducati’s new wave of hipster fans, the brand’s purists and racing fans will also be glad to know that retired MotoGP champion and current Ducati MotoGP test-rider Casey Stoner will be making a special appearance at WDW 2016 as well.

Ducati remain tight-lipped about the activities lined up for the retired Australian world champion, but like previous editions of WDW featuring current and former GP stars, we can expect activities like fan interaction as well as demo rides on-track using both selected current Ducati models and race bikes.

BikesRepublic had the golden opportunity to attend WDW back in 2012 (which you can read about here) and the only thing we can say is that this is one bi-annual festival that any die-hard Ducatista should attend at least once. More details about WDW 2016 are available online at the official Ducati website too.

Check out what went down during the last edition of WDW held back in 2014 in the featured video below.
