Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has organised their second road show stop in Pasir Gudang, Johor as part of their “Always Closer to You” Kawasaki Road Show last weekend.

Over 2,500 people attended the road show to participate in the road show events especially the test rides sessions of all the latest Kawasaki models.

Folks from around Pasir Gudang and Johor Bahru were given the opportunity to test out bikes from the fun Z125 pit bikes all the way to the ever powerful 2017 Z900 ABS.

Over 2,500 visitors gathered at the Pusat Bandar Pasir Gudang, Johor to take part in the Kawasaki “Always Closer to You” Road Show. The event which was organised by Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (KMSB) gained a lot of attentions from the public as they were able to test out all of their latest motorcycles on the road show grounds. Takaaki Nakagami has been announced as the latest rider to join the MotoGP 2018 season to race with LCR Honda.

The 25 year old from Japan has signed a contract for 2018 as a HRC contracted rider and will be racing alongside his team mate, Cal Crutchlow for the next season.

With LCR Honda finally able to accommodate a second rider, the MotoGP grid is finally complete with 24 riders.

The 2018 MotoGP riders’ line up is getting more interesting by the day! Earlier today, it was announced that current Moto2 Japanese rider Takaaki Nakagami will be graduating to MotoGP for the 2018 season as the second LCR Honda rider. (more…)

The Motonation Roadshow Edition 2 is heading over to the National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur this 26 August 2017.

Dubbed the Motonation “Motoring Art Festival”, motoring enthusiasts and the rest of the family members can come and have a great day filled with awesome vehicles, good music and fun activities.

The Motonation Roadshow will be going around Malaysia to promote their major event which will be happening on from 1 to 3 December 2017 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

Mark your calendars, people! The Motonation Roadshow Edition 2 dubbed the “Motoring Art Festival 2017” is coming to town next week and it is going to be EPIC! The 2018 MotoGP seats for the Avintia Reale Ducati team are still up for grabs considering that they’ve not confirm any riders yet.

Current riders Loris Baz and Hector Barbera are said not to be continuing their race efforts with the Avintia Ducati outfit for next year.

Rumours points towards Tito Rabat who is said will bring in his own personal sponsorship of around €1 million (around RM 5 million) to get into the 2018 MotoGP Ducati hot seat.

We all know that all the MotoGP seats for 2018 are fast getting filled in with more riders being announced as of late. The latest would be the controversial signing of Scott Redding to race with the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini outfit in replacement of the outgoing Sam Lowes. (more…)

Wunderlich, a company that prides themselves in making custom accessories for BMW Motorrad bikes has come up with the beautiful Wunderlich BMW R nineT Urban G/S Scrambler.

The German accessory manufacturer felt that the stock BMW R nineT Urban G/S shouldn’t just be a normal on the road bike but instead it should be able to go off-road as well.

The BMW R nineT Urban G/S was introduced last year during the annual EICMA motor show in Milan, Italy.

While we here in Malaysia is still waiting on the arrival of the ever elusive BMW R nineT Urban G/S which was introduced during last year’s EICMA Show in Milan, custom BMW Motorrad accessory manufacturer Wunderlich has come up the Wunderlich BMW R nineT Urban G/S Scrambler for those looking for that extra ‘oomph’ in their stock BMW R nineT Urban G/S. The folks over at Kenstomoto displayed their latest creation during the 2017 Art of Speed Malaysia festival which is the Kenstomoto Jū racer, a fully customised 2004 Kawasaki ZX-10R.

The brains behind all the design and fabrications are none other than Kenny Yeoh, the founder of Kenstomoto as well as a proud member of the Custom Cartel.

The end result is a super awesome track machine that has bagged several awards at this year Art of Speed Malaysia gathering.

To those who always said that “You can’t teach and old dog new tricks” obviously have no acquaintances whatsoever in the motorcycling industry. While some folks would either revive their seasoned motorcycles by restoring it back to their former glories, the folks over at Kenstomoto took theirs to whole new different level. (more…)

It was announced earlier today that WorldSBK rider Marco Melandri will continue his racing efforts with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati outfit for yet another season in 2018.

The 35 year old Italian has proven himself to be quite a rider on board the Ducati 1199 Panigale R with consistent podium finishes and even a race win this season.

Melandri currently sits fourth in the 2017 WorldSBK championship standings with 189 points; just 37 points behind his team mate, Chaz Davies.

Good news from the world of WorldSBK! It seems that the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team has decided to continue with the legendary Italian rider Marco Melandri for yet another season. Melandri will stick with Chaz Davies for the 2018 Superbike World Championship. (more…)

A recent report made by the Marc VDS team has stated that their Kalex Moto2 that Tito Rabat rode to win the 2014 Moto2 championship was stolen early this morning.

The bike which was displayed at the Marc VDS workshop located in Gosselies, Belgium was the only thing stolen when the thieves broke into the workshop at around 2am of 16 August 2017.

The 2014 Kalex Moto2 bike features the team’s 2014 livery and also the number 54 that Tito Rabat used during his 2014 Moto2 season.

The new 3S Centre will house the manufacturer’s showroom as well as provide the best after sales services to all Moto Guzzi owners.

The latest 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario was also launched in conjunction with the introduction of the new 3S Centre.

MV Agusta has finally announced that all their three-cylinder motorcycles to comply with the strict Euro4 regulations.

The MV Agusta F3 675, F3 800 and Dragster 800 models have gone through evolutions to their engines, electronics, engine noise and exhaust gas emissions making them quieter and cleaner.

The move to make their bikes comply with the Euro4 regulations means that they can continue selling their bikes in European countries in 2018 and beyond.

MV Agusta has finally of their three-cylinder motorcycles to comply with the even more strict Euro4 regulations. (more…)

A stuntwoman has recently passed away in an unfortunate incident while filming motorcycle stunt scene for the new upcoming Marvel movie, Deadpool 2.

The stuntwoman was seen losing control of her Ducati stunt bike before going airborne and crashing through a window panel at the ground floor of the Shaw Tower in Vancouver, Canada.

No official news has been released yet by the team but the unfortunate incident is probably going to delay the release of blockbuster movie in June of 2018.

Energica, an Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer has confirmed that they’ll introduce their new Energica Eva EsseEsse9 electric scrambler.

The upcoming Eva EsseEsse9 will come with ribbed seat, dual-sport tyres, racing number side panels and many more scrambler specifications.

Since it’s based on the manufacturer’s current Eva naked model, the new Eva EsseEsse9 scrambler will probably run a similar electric motor that produces around 110hp and 180Nm of torque.

The great maker of electric motorcycles all the way from Italy called Energica has finally confirmed that they are putting in some works on a brand new model for 2018. (more…)
