There’s a very interesting rumour going around town that BMW is currently working on a 1,600cc cruiser to be launched at this year’s EICMA Show in Milan.

The BMW R1600C Concept conjured up by Wunderlich and Nicolas Petit is quite a strong candidate to be turned into the real thing for BMW to penetrate the cruiser market successfully.

Their visions has led to a super cruiser with muscular design and an even more muscular 1,600cc boxer-twin engine which sounds like the perfect formula for BMW’s first ever production cruiser.

Looks like BMW Motorrad is starting to dip their hands into the cruiser category yet again. It has been rumoured that BMW will be introducing the BMW R1600C super cruiser in this year’s EICMA show which is going to be held in Milan, Italy this coming November. (more…)

The 2017 Benelli 302R is one of the latest entries into the Malaysian entry-level sports bike segment.

Created with a beautiful design and decent performance from its 300cc twin-cylinder engine, the 302R is an overall fun package especially for beginners.

Reasonably priced at RM21,888 (basic price without GST), we try to answer the question on whether it is worth the money when it comes to an entry-level sports bike.

There has been an interesting photo circulating around several social media platforms stating that this might be the new Ducati Panigale V4 superbike.

Powered by the V4 “Desmosedici Stradale” engine or “Desmosedici Road”, the engine will be unveiled this weekend during the MotoGP round in Misano.

While the bike might have broken cover thanks to this photo, the actual unveiling will probably be made at the end of the year during the EICMA Show in Milan, Italy.

As we get closer and closer to the next MotoGP round in San Marino where Ducati has confirmed that they’ll be introducing their new V4 engine dubbed the “Desmosedici Stradale”, there’s a photo circulating all over social media showing what is said to be the new Ducati V4 production bike in all its glory. A.P. Honda (Honda Motorcycle Thailand) has launched the 2017 Honda CB150R Exmotion, the production version of the Honda 150SS Racer concept.

The CB150R carries the same exterior design as the 150SS Racer concept with big bike features such as all-round LED lights, 41mm USD forks, radial-mounted four-port callipers and ABS with a G-force sensor.

The most modern 150cc street bike ever produced by Honda to date has been priced from RM12,810 with a number of different limited edition models being released in the near future.

Not all awesome concept bikes turn out exactly or anywhere near the original version when they move over to the production stage. A.P. Honda (Honda Motorcycle Thailand) has delivered brilliantly by sticking to their guns with the launch of their latest 2017 Honda CB150R Exmotion, the production version of the Honda 150SS Racer concept. Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) has been confirmed that he won’t be taking part in this weekend’s San Marino GP.

This means that Rossi will miss his home race due to injuries sustained to his right leg during an enduro training session just last week.

It has been advised that Rossi will need to sit out of two races to make sure that his injuries heal completely before being able to take compete again.

It is with sad news that Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) will not be taking part in the next MotoGP round which is going to be held in Misano this weekend. Due to his leg injury and successful surgery to repair the fractured bones, “The Doctor” will miss his home race which will also land a huge blow to his 2017 MotoGP championship effort. (more…)

Ducati has announced that their 2018 Ducati XDiavel S will be getting a host of new upgrades including a brand new colour; Iceberg White.

The 2018 XDiavel S will also get a brand new suspension package to provide even more comfort for both rider and pillion.

Equipped with a 1,262cc V-Twin Testastretta DVT engine, the XDiavel produces 156hp and 129Nm of gut-churning torque for maximum dose of fun.

Hold on to your socks, folks. Ducati has just announced that their 2018 Ducati XDiavel S will be available soon with a bunch of new upgrades. The biggest update of all is that it’ll come with a brand new colour scheme called “Iceberg White”. (more…)

The folks over at Krautmotors in Germany have constructed a custom BMW C Evolution electric scooter dubbed the “E-LisaBad”.

Assigned by BMW Motorrad themselves, lead custom German builder Rolf Reick succeeded in building one of the most beautiful custom electric motorcycles of all time.

Lowered and fitted with some racing slick rubber, the BMW C Evolution produces around 72Nm of torque instantly; 9Nm more than the BMW C650 Sport scooter.

One look at this bike and you know the future of electric motorcycles is heading towards the right direction. What started out as the BMW C Evolution electric scooter, the geniuses over at Krautmotors were given the rare opportunity to customise this very special two-wheeler made by BMW Motorrad. (more…)

Ducati has unveiled the name for their latest V4 engine which is the “Desmosedici Stradale” or “Desmosedici Road”.

The new engine for the upcoming Ducati V4-powered production superbike will be unveiled this weekend during the San Marino MotoGP round.

The new Desmosedici Stradale is said to be a hybrid between Ducati’s V4 Desmosedici GP engine and their current V2 Superquadro power plant from the Panigale series.

It’s only a few days away before the next 2017 MotoGP round in San Marino and the boys over at Ducati has been working on something very, VERY special for the motorcycle industry. We all know that they will be introducing something about the new Ducati V4-powered production superbike this weekend and by the looks of it, Ducati has dubbed the new engine as the “Desmosedici Stradale”. During the recent Art of Speed Malaysia 2017, there was a very special custom Honda EX5 Dream Fi that was displayed at Boon Siew Honda’s gigantic showcase space.

Created by Shawn Seelan of Shawn Seelan Creations, the low, mean and beautiful custom Honda EX5 dubbed “Raijin” or “God of Thunder” was created in conjunction with the Honda EX5’s 30th anniversary.

Filled to the brim with one-offs and modern parts, the custom cub turned heads with its beautifully menacing facade which also pays homage to the great Honda C70 cub.

During the recent Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 custom gathering, we were blessed to have witnessed so many custom motorcycles built by passionate people hailing from all over Malaysia and even some from overseas. (more…)
