Ian Hutchinson releases limited edition Isle of Man TT Arai replica helmets

16-time Isle of Man TT winner Ian Hutchinson has introduced his very own limited edition Isle of Man TT Arai replica helmets.

A total of 50 Arai RX7V helmets will be released to celebrate Hutchinson’s 16 wins which will come in five different hand-painted colours together with all the sponsor stickers.

Each limited edition Arai helmet is priced at £1199 (around RM6,755) and those interested will need to place a £200 (RM1,126) at www.5timesiomtt.com.

Modenas meets with new bike owners in special interaction session

Modenas organised a very special interaction program between the national bike manufacturer and all new Modenas bike owners.

Over 60 bike owners who purchased the Modenas Pulsar RS200, NS200 and V15 attended the “Let’s Talk” event to get to know more about their prized bikes.

Attendees were involved in various activities which include free bike check-up, one-to-one counselling with in-house experts as well as quizzes and prize giveaways.

As a part of their new initiative to bridge the gap closer between manufacturer and customers, our national bike manufacturer Modenas (Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd) arranged a very special interaction program dubbed “Let’s Talk” with fellow bike owners who purchased their very first batch of the 2017 Pulsar RS200, NS200 and V15 models on 11 September 2017. Akrapovič releases greatest superbike tribute VIDEO of all time!

Akrapovič has released one of the greatest tribute videos for all the 2017 superbike models with their latest aftermarket exhaust line.

In the video, Akrapovič highlighted their latest Evolution line which comes in either carbon or titanium for the selected superbike models.

MotoGP: Michael van der Mark will replace Rossi in Aragon

Current WorldSBK factory Yamaha rider Michael van der Mark has been selected to replace the injured Valentino Rossi in the next MotoGP round in Aragon on 24 September 2017.

The 24 year old Dutch will be making his MotoGP debut on the Yamaha YZF-M1 for the very first time with the support of Rossi’s current team.

Rossi is expected to make his return at the beginning of the three flyaway races starting in Motegi, Japan.

WorldSBK Yamaha rider Michael van der Mark has been selected to replace the injured Movistar Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi at Aragon in the next MotoGP round. As Rossi continues his rehabilitation procedure following an enduro-related injury, the 24 year old from Netherlands who is the current factory Yamaha rider riding for the Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team will be making his MotoGP debut. Triumph tests new 765cc Moto2 engine + VIDEO!

Triumph has begun their efforts to develop their 765cc Moto2 engine after being appointed as the main engine supplier for the MotoGP intermediate class in 2019.

The 2019 Moto2 Championship Engine Development Prototype race machine has been put through its phase of ongoing R&D and track session with the help of Moto2 rider, Julian Simon.

Triumph’s 765cc engine has been modified extensively from custom cylinder heads, titanium valves, race kit alternator, race slipper clutch, race ECU and many more.

The 2019 Moto2 Championship is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated race categories as Triumph begins developing their 765cc three-cylinder engine in their efforts to become the main engine supplier for the MotoGP intermediate class. (more…)

MotoGP: Tito Rabat signs with Avintia Ducati for 2018

Tito Rabat will move to the Reale Avintia Racing team for the next MotoGP season in 2018.

The 28 year old Spaniard has had a tough season so far with his current EG 0,0 Marc VDS on board the Honda machinery.

Rabat will be piloting the Ducati Desmosedici GP17 which Avintia Racing will acquire from the factory Ducati squad used by Andrea Dovizioso.

Current MotoGP rider Tito Rabat has signed a new contract with the Reale Avintia Racing squad for the 2018 season. After a troubled season with his current Marc VDS squad, the 2014 Moto2 World Champion will race on board the Ducati Desmosedici GP17 for 2018. (more…)

Ducati officially unveils Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine – 210hp!

Ducati has finally launched their new Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine yesterday at the start of the San Marino MotoGP round in Misano.

The road-going version bred from Ducati’s MotoGP efforts is said to produce 210hp at 13,000rpm and 120Nm of torque at 12,250rpm.

The street variant will have a 1,103cc displacement whereas an “R” version will be released in 2019 to be able to compete in the WorldSBK.

The dawn of a new era for Ducati production premium motorcycles is finally here, folks. Ducati has officially unveiled the new Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine which will power their upcoming Ducati Panigale V4. This engine is the road-going version of the power plant bred for the MotoGP, the Ducati Desmosedici. (more…)

Kawasaki releases 2018 Kawasaki Z900 RS teaser trailer

Kawasaki Motors has just released a short teaser video of what seems to be the Kawasaki Z900 RS modern classic bike.

The short teaser video posted on Youtube by Kawasaki Motors ended with the message “Unveiling of Kawasaki’s #TrueSpirit TOKYO, 25-10-2017”.

The date stated at the very in the end indicates that the unveiling will be made during the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show happening this October.

Looks like Kawasaki has finally confirmed the predictions to revive their modern classic range with the introduction of the 2018 Kawasaki Z900 RS. The short teaser video posted on Youtube by Kawasaki Motors ended with the message “Unveiling of Kawasaki’s #TrueSpirit TOKYO, 25-10-2017”. (more…)
