KTM Malaysia has officially unveiled the updated 2017 KTM RC 250 and KTM RC 390 for the Malaysian market.

The all-new KTM RC series comes with updated chassis, brakes, suspensions and a retuned engine for optimum power delivery and agility.

KTM Malaysia has priced the new 2017 KTM RC 250 and KTM RC 390 and RM 22,790 and RM29,800 respectively (basic prices with GST).

From the introduction of the 2014 Kawasaki Z1000, the Sugomi design concept has been embedded by Kawasaki into all of their latest bikes in the Z family.

Sugomi means the embodiment or spirit of a predator on a hunt and ready to strike its prey.

I-Moto.my together with GB Workshop conducted a workshop on proper bike maintenance dubbed the I-Workshop.

Held at The Gasket Alley, the laid-back seminar targeted for Vespa, Scomadi, Benelli and Aprilia owners on how to properly maintain their bikes and what to look out for when it comes to servicing.

The workshop was successful in providing valuable knowledge and firsthand experience to the bike owners to ensure that their beloved bikes are always ready to ride.

Our dear friends from I-Moto.my conducted a very successful program earlier today dubbed the I-Workshop for a bunch of Vespa, Scomadi, Benelli and Aprilia bike owners and enthusiasts. With the goal of educating these bike owners regarding the importance of bike maintenance, the casual workshop / seminar was held at The Gasket Alley, Petaling Jaya with the help from the great folks over at GB Workshop. Boon Siew Honda has planned their second ever Honda Asian Journey 2017 which will start from 26 October 2017 to 29 October 2017.

In conjunction with this year’s MotoGP round at the Sepang International Circuit, over 600 riders from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and India will take part.

The Honda Asian Journey’s main purpose is to promote all of the Honda Big Bikes range from the dual-purpose 2017 Honda CRF250 all the way to the powerful CBR1000RR.

Yamaha Motor Europe has released a teaser video entitled “Ride the Evolution” which may point towards the 2018 Yamaha MWT-9 three-wheeler.

Set on 25 October 2017, Yamaha will introduce a host of new bikes at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.

Rumours also pointed out that there will be a brand new Yamaha MT-09 which will receive a bunch of new upgrades for 2018.

Yamaha Motor Europe has just released a short teaser video entitled “Ride the Evolution”. Although the short clip doesn’t show much except for a few ninjas doing what ninjas do (I think), there’s a strong indicator that this might just be something that will make waves in the motorcycling industry. Ducati has revealed their latest 2018 Ducati Monster 821 as a sneak preview for all Ducati enthusiasts.

As part of the model’s 25th anniversary, the new 821 is heavily inspired by the first ever Monster 900 as well the powerful Monster 1200.

The new 2018 Monster 821 features a TFT display and Ducati Safety Pack which includes Bosch ABS, Ducati Traction Control and selectable Riding Modes.

The first of five new Ducati models for 2018 has been unveiled, folks. The red Italian manufacturer from Borgo Panigale has unveiled their latest 2018 Ducati Monster 821 in conjunction with the model’s 25th anniversary. (more…)

Triumph Motorcycles will launch their very own special Visitor Experience centre this coming 1 November 2017.

Located within Triumph’s Hinckley factory in Leicestershire, England, visitors will also be able to experience the factory itself through an organised walkthrough.

The Visitor Experience is free to enter but if you’re interest to join the 90-minute factory tour, just book your slot for only £15 (around RM83.80).

Triumph Motorcycles has announced that they will open a very special Visitor Experience hub this 1 November 2017 which will allow all Triumph and other motoring enthusiasts to get into the action of their beloved motorcycle manufacturer. (more…)

The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team has confirmed that both their current riders Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro will continue their MotoGP efforts in 2018.

Both riders including their test rider Mika Kallio will continue to develop their KTM RC16 MotoGP machinery to be more competitive come next season.

The best result that they had so far was with Mika Kallio as a wildcard entry during the Austrian GP where he finished in the top ten.

KTM has released a press release regarding the future of their current MotoGP riders Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro. They have confirmed that both riders will continue their MotoGP efforts with the Austrian factory squad for another season in 2018. (more…)

Some say that the Dubai Police will soon employ the assistance of hoverbikes as part of their task force in the near future.

According to Russian company Hoversurf International, their specially-made hoverbike has passed extreme tests when it comes to heat and dust.

The electric-powered single-seat machine uses four mini helicopter propellers that is able to carry around 300kg while going at 40km/h for over 25 minutes at a time.

The future is now, ladies and gentlemen. According to the folks over at Hoversurf International, they will soon provide a few of their groundbreaking hoverbikes to the Dubai Police task force. This particular model will be based on their very successful Scorpion (S-3) concept. (more…)
