For 2017, Triumph Motorcycles sold over 63,000 motorcycles from their dealerships around the globe.

63,404 units were sold which translates to £498.5 million (RM2.7 billion) in sales revenue.

Triumph made £24.7 million (RM134 million) in profits which is a 48% increase thanks to a 22% rise in sales worldwide.

With the current standpoint of the world’s ever fluctuating market for motorcycles, Triumph Motorcycles was proud to announce that they have seen a growth in sales for 2017 despite the economic conditions in which some other manufacturers experienced a significant drop. (more…)

Recent news has shown that thieves are now beginning to steal ByBre brakes.

ByBre is short for ‘By Brembo’ is a brand developed by the major brake manufacturer specifically for small to medium displacement motorcycles.

Bikes like the Modenas Pulsar RS200, Modenas Pulsar NS200, KTM 250 Duke, KTM 390 Duke and many more all use ByBre brakes.

A recent Facebook Post by Ducati Penang indicated that the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 is now open for booking.

With a tentative retail price with GST of RM133,900 to RM359,900, you can now place your booking for the Panigale V4, V4 S, and the V4 Speciale.

Powered by  1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale 90° V4 engine, the latest Panigale evolution produces 212hp to 226hp.

A recent post by Ducati Penang has confirmed that the latest 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 which is set to launch sometime in the first half of next year has already begun accepting bookings for them. Looking back at the 2017 MotoGP season, Johann Zarco topped our list for ‘Rider of the Year’.

After winning two Moto2 titles back to back, the young Frenchman moved up to MotoGP as a rookie but rode like a seasoned veteran chasing the championship.

All in all, he finished the season with three podiums, 174 points and the title “MotoGP 2017 Rookie of the Year”.

The 2017 MotoGP season has been nothing but breathtaking ever since the very beginning where the season started off under the floodlights of Qatar. Apart from a few monumental shifts in the series such as the great Jorge Lorenzo converting over to the scarlet red Ducati team and Maverick Vinales taking his place in Movistar Yamaha, there were a few more unexpected surprises thrown into the mix. Talks regarding WorldSBK champion Jonathan Rea moving to MotoGP has risen once again.

After winning his third consecutive title with the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT), Rea will continue his WorldSBK efforts towards the end of 2018.

Rea stated that he will only make the move if there’s a vacancy in a factory MotoGP team.

After winning his third consecutive WorldSBK title in the FIM Superbike World Championship, a lot of folks have been arguing on why the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) star rider Jonathan Rea still has not made his move towards a more challenging racing series that is MotoGP. (more…)

Husqvarna has signed a strategic global partnership with MOTOREX lubricants starting January 2018.

All new Husqvarna off-road and street bikes will be first filled with MOTOREX lubricants and future maintenance and service works.

MOTOREX Oils also became one of the official partners for the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing in this year’s AMA Supercross Championship.

A strategic global partnership has been announced between Husqvarna Motorcycles and MOTOREX lubricant. As of January 2018, all new Husqvarna street and off-road bikes will be using its lubricants. (more…)

A huge Brembo brake recall has been issued in the US in reference to their popular PR16 radial master cylinder unit commonly paired with Brembo M50 calipers.

Apparently, the internal piston in the master cylinder made out of plastic is prone to cracks which may lead to major brake failure.

The recall for some models from Ducati and Aprilia in the US has been confirmed and Brembo will issue a new aluminium master cylinder piston as replacement.

In reference to a recent report made by Asphalt and Rubber, the gods of braking technology Brembo has officially issued a massive recall on their PR16 radial master cylinder unit which is the master cylinder usually found together with the Brembo M50 calipers. (more…)

Modenas organised a very special program for some 300 Modenas bike owners earlier today called the Gempak Santai Modenas.

All those who attended earlier today enjoyed some fun activities including lucky draws, test rides, and service campaigns for their beloved bikes.

The aim of the program was to strengthen the relationship between the brand and all of its customers here in the country.

Malaysia’s national motorcycle manufacturer Modenas conducted a very special event today called the Gempak Santai Modenas Volume 1. Over 300 Modenas bike owners from across the country gathered at the EON Head Office Complex in Glenmarie Shah Alam where Modenas hosted some very interesting activities for all those who attended earlier today. Moto3 rider Juanfran Guevara has officially announced his retirement from the world of motorcycle racing.

The decision was made due to the pressures revolving motorcycle racing and funding to continue further.

The 22 year old Spaniard has decided to focus on his career in business and studies.

One of the world’s top Moto3 riders has sadly made decision to retire from motorcycle racing earlier today. 22 year old Juanfran Guevara made the announcement via an official press release today despite the fact that he is still in the provisional entry list for 2018 together with his current team, RBA BOE Racing KTM.
