Marc Marquez has signed a new deal with Repsol Honda which will see him race with the squad until the end of 2020.

The four-time MotoGP world champion first came with Repsol Honda in 2013 and has only lost one championship in 2015.

This contract renewal shuts down all other gossips about Marquez moving to other teams in 2019.

Four-time MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez has announced that he will be staying with the Repsol Honda team until the end of 2020. The 25-year-old Spaniard signed a two-year deal with the factory Honda squad which means that he has guaranteed his seat on the factory Honda RC213V for a total of eight seasons until the end of his contract. Husqvarna has reported their record-breaking sales figure for 2017.

The Swedish bike manufacturer reported a 20% increase in sales revenue with 36,883 units sold.

The total number of units sold last year translates to a turnover of €250 million (around RM1.2 billion).

Husqvarna is proud to announce that their motorcycle sales figure has hit a record-breaking high for 2017. This is the fourth straight year that the Swedish bike manufacturer has celebrated a major comeback ever since being taken over by Austrian bike manufacturing giants, KTM. (more…)

The Wilayah International Motofest 2018 was held at the Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur last weekend.

Organised by DBKL and Kepala Kuasa Motorcycle Group (KKMG), thousands of bikers gathered for the two-day event.

It is safe to say that this year’s event is bigger and more awesome than last year’s extravaganza.

The Wilayah International Motofest 2018 (WIM2018) ran its course last weekend in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and as promised, it was a motorcycle gathering of epic proportions. Organised by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) together with Kepala Kuasa Motorcycle Group (KKMG), thousands of participants from across the country and even neighbouring countries gathered at the historic Dataran Merdeka. The first opening WorldSBK round of 2018 saw Marco Melandri took home a double win for both races in Australia.

Melandri managed to fend off both Kawasaki Racing Team riders in Race 1 and Race 2 for the wins.

Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies completed the podium in Race 1 whereas Jonathan Rea together with Xavi Fores completed Race 2.

Those who say that “old dogs can’t learn new tricks” obviously are not into the world of motorcycle racing as 35-year-old Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) won both races in the 2018 WorldSBK opening round at Phillip Island, Australia this past weekend. (more…)

Eastern Bobber needs your help with funding to bring Malaysia to INTERMOT Germany this year.

Custom bike builder Omar Jumiran and his creation, Bone-X, will compete at the 2018 AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building.

He will be the first Malaysian to do so and he needs all the help (and funding) he can get to reach there in the best possible way.

National custom bike builder Omar Jumiran of Eastern Bobber was recently announced as the first ever Malaysian who will compete at INTERMOT in Germany at the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building later this year. (more…)

This particular 2019 Triumph-powered Kalex Moto2 bike is looking ready for 2019.

The 2019 Moto2 season will see a brand new 765cc three-cylinder engine manufactured by Triumph being used.

Kalex is already a few steps ahead as they need to impress a lot of their customers using their chassis come 2019.

It looks like this particular 2019 Triumph-powered Kalex Moto2 bike is primed and almost ready for the upcoming 2019 season. The 2018 WorldSBK season will begin this weekend from 23 to 25 February 2018.

The opening Yamaha Finance Australian round was officially launched at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.

Race 1 will start at 12 pm local time tomorrow (Saturday) and Race 2 (Sunday) at the same time.

Get ready, folks. The 2018 WorldSBK season will begin this weekend and it promises to be one of the most interesting ones yet. The iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit will play host to the Yamaha Finance Australian opening round where the superbike boys will duke it out once again. (more…)

Harley-Davidson has just filed a trademark application under the name Revelation.

The trademark applied at the USPTO is for batteries for vehicles and drivetrains for both electric motorcycles and vehicles.

The Revelation sounds more like the technology H-D will use to power their next electric bike instead of a brand new one.

Some interesting news from the United States of America has been going around in regards to Harley-Davidson and their next electric motorcycle. It seems that the manufacturer has just filed for the latest trademark application for the name Revelation at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). (more…)

H-D has just launched the 2018 Harley-Davidson Iron 1200 and Forty-Eight Special.

The two new additions to the Sportster line-up come ready with H-D’s 1,200cc Evolution V-twin engine.

The Iron 1200 is priced at $9,999 (RM39,131) while the Forty-Eight Special is at $11,299 (RM44,218) in the US market.

The folks over at Harley-Davidson have launched two new models into their current Sportster line-up with the 2018 Harley-Davidson Iron 1200 and Forty-Eight Special. Both models come equipped with the manufacturer’s latest 1,200cc Evolution V-twin Sportster power plant. (more…)

Current Moto2 rider Francesco Bagnaia has signed a two-year deal with the Pramac Ducati MotoGP team.

The 21-year-old Italian will realise his MotoGP dream in 2019 and 2020 onboard Ducati machinery.

The announcement was made by Bagnaia and the SkyVR46 Racing team on Twitter.

It looks like the 2019 MotoGP ‘silly season’ has started super early with the signing of Francesco Bagnaia to move up to the premier class with Pramac Ducati. The news of the young Italian signing a two-year MotoGP deal was announced by himself and the SkyVR46 racing team on Twitter. (more…)
