Over 10,000 bikers gathered at MAEPS Serdang last Saturday for the Himpunan 2 Roda (H2R) gathering.

Motorsports enthusiasts from all over Malaysia and neighbouring countries attended the event supported by MACC.

The event also saw the launching of Revolusi 3J and Street Warriors Against Corruption (SWAC) campaigns set out to fight corruption.

It was only a couple of days back when over 10,000 bikers and motorsports enthusiasts gathered at MAEPS Serdang for the Himpunan 2 Roda (H2R) event. An event supported by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), the gathering saw bikers of all shapes and sizes from around 100 motorcycle clubs from across the country. (more…)

Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia (Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd) has just launched the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black, Speedmaster & Tiger 800.

Eight new bikes consisting of the Bobber Black, Speedmaster and six Tiger 800 variants are now officially available.

The new 2018 Triumph models are available from RM56,900 to RM79,900.

Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia has officially launched their latest models for this year which includes the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black, Speedmaster and Tiger 800 range. The bikes were unveiled earlier tonight at Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. There are a total of eight new bikes for this beginning of the year where the Tiger 800 range alone consists of six new variants. The Modenas after Sales team provided Mr Zulkifli Nasir with a temporary Pulsar NS200 after his own bike caught on fire earlier this week.

His bike was burned down a few days back due to a short circuit caused by improper battery terminal connection.

The Himpunan 2 Roda 2018 or H2R is happening tomorrow at MAEPS Serdang.

Supported by MACC, over 70 motorcycle clubs from across Malaysia will join the event to fight against corruption.

Thousands are expected to come where there will motor shows, performances and fun for the whole family (entrance is FREE!).

The Himpunan 2 Roda 2018 (H2R) or “2 Wheel Gathering” is happening tomorrow at MAEPS Serdang. The gathering is supported by the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) with the goal to promote a safe and healthy biking community whilst curbing the major issue of corruption through awareness and education. In yet another step to developing their upcoming electric motorcycle, Harley-Davidson has just announced a new technical partnership with Alta Motors.

The two American manufacturers will work on H-D’s first two production electric motorcycles coming as soon as 2019.

Alta Motors is an expert in electric motorcycles and recently launched their latest electric dirt bike called the Redshift MXR.

Harley-Davidson has announced their investment in Alta Motors to further develop their upcoming electric motorcycle. The technical partnership formed between the two American companies will result in the development of several new electric motorcycles in the near future. (more…)

There’s is a thriving market for replica motorcycles or copycat bikes from China in countries like Pakistan.

Sigma Motorsports has taken this to a whole new level with a variety of replica bikes on offer.

Bikes from the Ducati 848, BMW S 1000 RR, KTM Duke, Honda CBR250R and many more all have their own small-capacity versions in Pakistan.

China is known for their thriving business in almost anything and everything under the sun. Being one of the fastest growing super countries in the world, everything else followed suit including their market for copycat items. These include vehicles and motorcycles too, folks. (more…)

Yamaha has announced that there might be a middleweight Yamaha Niken coming soon.

The 2019 Yamaha Niken is powered by the same 847cc inline-three engine found in the MT-09.

We’re guessing that the mid-sized version will come ready with the 689cc twin-cylinder engine from the MT-07.

After the recent launch of the production-ready Yamaha Niken three-wheeler together late last year, Yamaha Japan has more plans to further expand their Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) machines across the entire bike range. (more…)

Hammy Dawg from Hammy Moto YouTube page survived one of the most intense crashes involving a semi-truck.

The rider lost the front end of the bike, tank-slapped and went under the truck and went out the other side ALIVE.

Hammy was lucky to be alive with minor road rashes on his knees and hip.

It is safe to say that most of us bikers have had our fair share of close calls. While some of us are luckier than others, this particular biker from California, USA probably tops the cake with this a miraculous escape (and cheating death) when he lost control of his bike and went under a semi-truck! Suzuki is planning to run a Suzuki satellite team in the MotoGP grid for the 2019 season.

Their plan in 2019 is to get four Suzuki GSX-RR MotoGP to speed up the development and data collecting process.

Independent teams like Tech 3, Angel Nieto Team, Marc VDS and Reale Avintia are all looking to change their machinery for the next season.

There’s news going around in the MotoGP world that Suzuki is looking to run a satellite team for the 2019 season. The Japanese manufacturer’s initial plan of putting in four prototype machines this year was put on hold due to their difficult season last year but it might be plausible for the upcoming season. Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman clocked in the fastest time yesterday during the 2018 FIM ARRC pre-season testing in Buriram.

Azlan together with the Manual Tech KYT Kawasaki Racing took his ZX-6R ahead of Thai’s Decha Kraisart and Malaysia’s Zaqhwan Zaidi.

Day 2 of testing will commence today to get the riders ready for the season opener this weekend.

The FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) kicked things off yesterday as Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman stormed pass everyone in Thailand for the official 2018 ARRC pre-season testing. Kawasaki Motors Malaysia (KMSB) has unveiled their latest 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS.

Their latest modern-classic option is powered by the same 948cc inline-four engine found in the 2017 Kawasaki Z900 ABS.

KMSB has priced the Kawasaki Z900RS at RM69,900 for the Special Edition Orange paint scheme and RM 67,900 for Standard Edition. (basic price with GST).

A recently uploaded YouTube video showed a group of US ‘mat rempit’ trying to escape from the police.

Street riders from the US are popular with doing insane stunts of public roads with their dirt bikes and ATVs.

Everything was caught on camera from one of the riders’ action camera mounted on his/her helmet.

In every country, there’s always a group of motorcycle riding hooligans that enjoy the chaos of riding wildly on city streets. Here in Malaysia, we have ‘mat rempit’ but in the United States of America, they take things to whole new level (including the police who try to apprehend them). (more…)
