Yamaha YZF-R25 (2024) Hadir dengan Warna Baharu

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn. Bhd. melancarkan Yamaha YZF-R25 (2024) dengan warna baharu. Ia merupakan variasi berwarna putih yang digelar Glacier White. Varian warna biru yang popular sejak dilancarkan, Racing Blue, masih tetap dijual.

Pembeli boleh mendapati warna baharu ini di semua penjual Yamaha yang rasmi mulai 4 Mac 2024. Harganya jualannya kekal seperti harga 2023 iaitu RM 22,998.00, tidak termasuk pendaftaran dan insuran. Seperti biasa setiap pembelian disertakan dengan kunci cakera brek yang bernilai RM100.

Enjin R25 ini kekal yang sama, iaitu jenis 2 silinder selari, DOHC, 249cc. Ia menghasilkan 26.4 kW (35.4 HP) pada 12,000 RPM dan tork 22.6 Nm pada 10,000 RPM. Ciri Brek Anti-Kunci (ABS) serta lampu-lampu isyarat LED merupakan standed.

Jentera R25 ini masih popular dan mendapat sambutan ramai di kalangan peminat motosikal tanahair, walaupun ia berada di pasaran sejak 2015. Ia telah melalui beberapa pembaharuan serta peningkatan sejak itu, sehinggalah versi yang menggunakan sistem brek ABS pada 2023.

Kedatangan versi ber-ABS itu merupakan sesuatu gerak langkah yang baik kerana sekmen 250 ini yang menyaksikan persaingan paling sengit di antara pembuat motosikal. Ia dipenuhi dengan jenama-jenama seperti Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, CFMoto, KTM, Modenas/Bajaj, Husqvarna.

Yamaha YZF-R25 Updated With New Colours For 2023 – RM22,998

Yamaha Malaysia has announced the release of two new colours for its popular Yamaha YZF-R25 motorcycle. The new colours, Midnight Star and Racing Blue, have been added to the model’s existing range of colours. These new colours are expected to give the Yamaha YZF-R25 a stylish and trendy look.

Starting from 23rd March 2023, the Yamaha YZF-R25 in the new colour selection will be available at all authorized Yamaha dealers nationwide. The recommended retail price for the new model is RM 22,998.00, excluding registration fees and insurance coverage.

Additionally, new owners of the YZF-R25 will be able to enjoy an added benefit by receiving a Yamaha safety disc lock worth RM 100 with their purchase.

The Yamaha YZF-R25 is a popular model that is well-known for its power and speed. The motorcycle is powered by a 249 cc, in-line two-cylinders, Dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) engine producing 26.4 kW at 12,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. It also comes with anti-lock braking system (ABS) & LED Turn Signals Lights.

The addition of new colours is expected to make the Yamaha YZF-R25 more appealing to young riders who are looking for a trendy and stylish motorcycle. 2022 Yamaha YZF-R25 Now In Malaysia – Features ABS, RM22,998

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has updated its quarter-litre sportsbike, the Yamaha YZF-R25 for 2022.

Yamaha R25 updated with two new colourway and features ABS, LED turn indicator as standard.
Features the same 249cc in-line two-cylinder engine that makes 35hp and 22.6Nm.

Coming in new for the Malaysian market is two new colourway, Orange Lynx and Racing Blue.

However, the braking system received the most significant upgrade with the introduction of ABS. Also new for 2022 is LED turn signal lights replacing the halogen lights on the previous model.

As a result, the 2022 Yamaha R25 is now priced at RM22,998 – a slight increased than the 2021 model – and will be available nationwide starting today (22 September 2022).

Mechanically, the R25 continue to make 35hp @ 12,000rpm and 22.6Nm @ 10,000rpm from its 249cc in-line two-cylinder DOHC engine.

In addition, buyers is entitled to received a Yamaha safety disc lock worth RM100 with every purchased of the R25.

Laporan ‘Spy Shot’ Didakwa Sebagai R15 V4 Sebenarnya R3/R25 Baharu?

Baru-baru ini, tular rakaman video dan imej yang didakwa sebagai Yamaha R15 V4 sedang giat jalani ujian di India.

Bagaimanapun, berdasarkan perkembangan terbaru, difahamkan model tersebut mungkin bukan merujuk pada R15 sebaliknya model yang lebih besar R25 atau R3.

Menurut laporan di India, motosikal tersebut dilihat sebagai terlalu besar bagi sebuah R15 malah panel depan juga menampilkan rekaan sama seperti R7.

Bahagian ekor juga tampak lebih “berisi” dan tidak kurus seperti yang terdapat pada R15 ketika ini.

Selepas mengambil kira beberapa faktor termasuk laporan terkini di India, motosikal Yamaha tersebut hampir pasti merujuk kepada model R25/R3 baharu.

2019 Yamaha YZF-R25 (R25) Price Announced (From RM 19,998)

HLYM announced the price for the 2019 YZF-R25 today.
The 2019 R25 retains the engine of its predecessor.
But there are many new features.

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has announced the pricing for the 2019 Yamaha YZF-R25 (R25) today, after the preview back in January this year.

The price from RM 19,998 (basic selling price, not on-the-road) remains unchanged from its predecessor’s.

But while the 2019 model retains the same 250cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel-Twin engine, there are a number of new enhanced features:

Upside-down forks for better handling and road feedback.
New aerodynamic bodywork inclusive of YZR-M1 style air intake.
New fuel tank design for better seating position.
New handlebar and ergonomics for the roads and track.
LED lighting and new LCD instrument cluster.

The 2019 R25 is offered in two colours, Blue and Red and will be available from the 3^rdweek of March. Buyers will receive exclusive stainless steel Yamaha Disc Lock complete with “reminder” cable.

2019 Yamaha YZF-R25 Launched by Hong Leong Yamaha Motor

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor launched the 2019 Yamaha YZF-R25 lightweight sportbike today.
It features a new styling and bodywork, inspired by the MotoGP YZR-M1.
The 2019 bike is mechanically unchanged, apart from upside-down forks.

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) launched another eagerly-awaited model, the 2019 Yamaha YZF-R25.

The first-generation YZF-R25 (R25) found popular standing among many Malaysian motorcyclists. Sales was kept going despite being in the market since 2015. HLYM sold thousands of R25s since its introduction.

That is why there are many R25 owner clubs in Malaysia. In fact, thousands will show up for official convoys, including the annual ride to the Malaysian MotoGP.

The 2019 R25 features a new bodywork and styling, mimicking its larger YZF-R6 brother. Indeed, it’s easy to mistake the new R25 for the new R6 due to the multifaceted fairing, new aggressive headlights and taillight, and tail-section. The headlights and taillight are LED.

However, the engine and frame remain unchanged, although the 2019 model features upside-down forks.

Yamaha claims the new R25 gets an 8 km/h increase in top speed.

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Recalls Yamaha YZF-R25

A parts replacement programme has been initiated for the Yamaha YZF-R25.
The parts are a radiator hose and gearshift shaft torsion spring.
Hong Leong Yamaha Motor will contact owners of the affected units from mid-January 2019.

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) issued a statement regarding the Yamaha YZF-R25. The Malaysian Yamaha distributor calls it a “Parts Replacement Programme.”

When Yamaha initiated a recall campaign for the Yamaha YZF-R3 in America, we did not publish the news as the R3 is not available here. We were uncertain if the YZF-R25 used the same parts as the R3.

Well, it does look like it is so now. HLYM will send the notice to the affected customers from mid-January 2019 onwards.

There are two parts to be replaced. The first is the radiator hose. Yamaha found that the supplier has improperly vulcanized (process of hardening rubber) the hose and it may leak cooling fluid.

Units affected by this are YZF-R25 frame numbers beginning with PMYRG1510E, PMYRG1510F, PMYRG1510G. Also, units 0000000 to 0012240 for frame number beginning with PMYRG1510H.

The second part covered in the programme is the gearshift shaft torsion spring. Yamaha found that the supplier shot-peened it improperly. Shot-peening is a process to strengthen metal parts. The spring could potentially break causing the shifter to become loose, consequently affecting gear shifting.

Affected units are all units with frame numbers beginning PMYRG1510E, PMYRG1510F, and PMYRG1510G from 0000000 to 0006758.
