SKY Racing Team VR46 unveils 2021 MotoGP & Moto2 liveries

Special Valentino Rossi VR46 Moto2 Team Livery for Mugello

The Valentino Rossi VR46 Moto2 team will field a special livery for the Mugello round.
The livery takes after the Italian tricolore flag.
Rider Luca Marini has the honour of riding the bike.

Fans of Valentino Rossi know that the flamboyant racer and multiple world champion will spring a surprise new helmet design when MotoGP reaches Mugello. But this time, there’s also a special livery for his VR46 Moto2 team.

The one-off livery consists of green, white and red colours as per the Italian tricolore flag, to mark the team’s home round. Rider Luca Marini has been riding with the blue and black Sky VR46 livery thus far, so we wonder if his leathers will match the special paint scheme.

Marini is the maternal half-brother of Valentino Rossi. He is currently lying in 9^thin the Moto2 championship this year and has yet to score a podium finish. Contrastingly, he finished five times on the podium including one win at the Malaysian round at the Sepang International Circuit.

His teammate in 2018 was Francesco Bagnaia who won eight races besides finishing each one of them on his way to being crowned the Moto2 champion. Bagnaia has moved up to MotoGP this year, riding for Alma Pramac Racing and partnering Jack Miller on the Ducati Desmosedici.

Persaingan untuk merebut takhta kejohanan Moto2 akan diteruskan di Sepang di antara Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) dan teman sepasukan Binder, Miguel Oliveira.

Albert Arenas (Angel Nieto Team Moto3) berjaya merangkul kemenangan yang cukup memberangsangkan dalam kelas Moto3 di Phillip Island.
Fabio di Giannantonio (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) dan Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) melengkapkan kedudukan atas podium.
Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) menjarakkan lagi jurang mata kejohanan setelah Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PruestelGP) sekali lagi gagal menamatkan perlumbaan.

Moto2: Brad Binder gains third win of the season in Australia

The 2018 Moto2 round in Australia saw Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) securing his third victory of the season.
Joan Mir (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) and Xavi Vierge (Dynavolt Intact GP) crossed the chequered flag in second and third respectively.
The battle for the Moto2 crown will continue to Sepang between Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) and Binder’s teammate, Miguel Oliveira.

After an amazing Moto3 race at the Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island, it was the Moto2 boys’ turn to shake things up where the battle for the 2018 championship could’ve been decided today between Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) and Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo). Moto3: Albert Arenas wins nail-biting race at Phillip Island

Albert Arenas (Angel Nieto Team Moto3) secured a brilliant Moto3 at Phillip Island.
Fabio di Giannantonio (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) and Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) completed the podium spots.
Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) extended his lead in the championship after Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PruestelGP) suffered another DNF.

As the Moto3 riders exited the last corner in the very final lap of the Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, more than 12 riders were going against each other on the front straight as they fought to gain the top spot following a race full of action and drama throughout. (more…)

MotoGP: Francesco Bagnaia Akan Menyertai Pasukan Pramac Ducati Pada Tahun 2019!

Penunggang Moto2, Francesco Bagnaia, telah menandatangani perjanjian selama dua tahun dengan pasukan Pramac Ducati MotoGP.
Penunggang dari Itali berusia 21 tahun itu akan merealisasikan impian MotoGPnya pada tahun 2019 dan 2020 di atas jentera Ducati.
Pengumuman tersebut telah dibuat oleh Bagnaia dan pasukan SkyVR46 Racing di laman Twitter.

MotoGP: Francesco Bagnaia will join Pramac Ducati in 2019!

Current Moto2 rider Francesco Bagnaia has signed a two-year deal with the Pramac Ducati MotoGP team.

The 21-year-old Italian will realise his MotoGP dream in 2019 and 2020 onboard Ducati machinery.

The announcement was made by Bagnaia and the SkyVR46 Racing team on Twitter.

It looks like the 2019 MotoGP ‘silly season’ has started super early with the signing of Francesco Bagnaia to move up to the premier class with Pramac Ducati. The news of the young Italian signing a two-year MotoGP deal was announced by himself and the SkyVR46 racing team on Twitter. (more…)

Moto2: Hafizh Syahrin Merangkul Tempat Ke-tiga Di Jepun

Penunggang Moto2 dari Malaysia, Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia), telah berlumba dengan jayanya, merangkul penamat podium keduanya dari tiga perlumbaan yang lepas.
Alex Marquez (EG 0,0, Marc VDS) yang muncul juara perlumbaan di pusingan Motul Grand Prix of Japan di Litar Twin Ring Motegi yang amat basah disusuli oleh Xavi Vierge (Tech 3 Racing).
Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) masih mendahului kejohanan ini dan akan meneruskan persaingan merebut kejuaraan Moto2-nya di Phillip Island pada hujung minggu hadapan.

Moto2: Hafizh Syahrin scores triumphant third in Japan

Malaysia’s own Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) scored yet another brilliant finish making it his second podium finish in the past three races.

It was Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) who finished the Motul Grand Prix of Japan in top spot at a very wet Twin Ring Motegi followed by Xavi Vierge (Tech 3 Racing).

Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) still leads the championship as they move to Phillip Island next weekend to continue his Moto2 championship battle.

It was Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) who came up on top at a very, VERY wet MotoGP race at the Twin Ring Motegi. Second spot went to Xavi Vierge (Tech 3 Racing) but the highlight of the race for all Malaysians was our very own Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) who scored yet another podium finish in the last three rounds. Moto3: Joan Mir makes it two in a Row

Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) continued his perfect season with his second straight Moto3 win
John McPhee (British Talent Team) stayed in second after a few great battles with the top five riders
Jorge Martin (Del Consa Gresini Moto3) completed the podium in third spot

It was Joan Mir from the Leopard Racing outfit who took the second Moto3 race of the season with a stunning victory at the Argentina GP. After a poor performance during qualifying on Saturday, Mir only managed to start today’s Moto3 race in 16^th position but made a stunning comeback from behind. (more…)
