Nine-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has unveiled his latest 2018 AGV Pista GP R.

Following the two-year contract renewal with Movistar Yamaha, the 39-year-old showcased a very retro-looking helmet.

With a minimalistic approach, his 2018 helmet was inspired by helmets used in Formula 1 back in the 70s and 80s.

Following the recent announcement of his two-year contract renewal with the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team, nine-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi introduced his latest 2018 AGV Pista GP R livery. Valentino Rossi just signed a two-year contract with the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP squad.

This means that the nine-time world champion will race until the end of 2020.

In 2020, Rossi would’ve raced for 25 seasons where 15 of those are with Yamaha.

Good news to all Rossi fans out there. Valentino Rossi has signed a brand new two-year deal with his current Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team which will see the Italian racing until the end of 2020! This also means that by the end of this contract, Rossi would have raced with Yamaha for 15 years out of an astonishing 25 seasons he has been on the grid. (more…)

  • Motosikal bagi tahun 2018 ini berdasarkan kepada casis yang telah digunakan pada tahun 2016 yang lalu dengan bersama dengan kelengkapan serba baru yang dirancang untuk digunakan ketika ujian musim sejuk di Sepang.
  • Maverick Viñales juga turut mengumumkan bahawa dia akan meneruskan kerjaya perlumbaannya bersama Yamaha sehingga penghujung tahun 2020.

The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP squad has revealed their latest 2018 Yamaha M1 race machines.

The 2018 bike is based on the chassis used back in 2016 with brand new parts planned for the Sepang winter test.

Maverick Vinales also announced that he will continue racing with Yamaha until the end of 2020.

The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team has officially launched their 2018 Yamaha M1 race machines to compete in the upcoming MotoGP season. Revealed with a brand new blue and white livery, the 2018 Yamaha M1 looks new with a chassis based on their 2016 machine like the ones used by Johann Zarco and Jonas Folger from the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 last season.   • Penunggang bagi pasukan Movistar Yamaha MotoGP, Valentino Rossi telah melakukan empat pusingan kelmarin di Misano di atas jentera Yamaha YZF-R1M yang juga merupakan sebahagian daripada ujian kecergasannya.
  • Juara Dunia sembilan kali itu tidak sabar untuk meneruskan cabaran kejohanan 2017-nya setelah terpaksa berehat pada pusingan MotGP yang lalu oleh kerana kecederaan yang mengakibatkan keretakan berganda pada kaki kanannya.
  • Rossi telah menyasarkan untuk kembali berlumba di atas jentera Yamaha M1 kesayangannya itu di Aragon pada hujung minggu ini walaupun pasukannya telah mengumumkan bahawa penunggang pasukan pengilang WorldSBK, Michael van der Mark akan menggantikan tempatnya pada pusingan berkenaan.

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi clocked in four laps yesterday in Misano on board the Yamaha YZF-R1M as part of his fitness test.

The nine-time World Champion has been eager to get back in the 2017 title chase after having missed the past MotoGP round due to double fracture injury to his right leg.

Rossi has set his sights on racing his beloved Yamaha M1 in Aragon this weekend although his team has announced that WorldSBK Yamaha factory rider Michael van der Mark will be his replacement.

After just 18 days since the unfortunate event that fell upon the MotoGP nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, the Doctor is back again for some two-wheel action. As part of his recuperating schedule which his actually extraordinarily ahead of time, Rossi clocked in four laps in San Marino at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on board of a Yamaha YZF-R1M used by the VR46 Academy.   • Penunggang bagi pasukan pengilang WorldSBK Yamaha, Michael van der Mark telah dipilih untuk menggantikan Valentino Rossi yang telah tercedera bagi pusingan MotoGP yang berikutnya di Aragon pada 24 September 2017.
  • Penunggang berusia 24 tahun yang berasal dari Belanda itu bakal membuat kemunculan MotoGP yang pertama kalinya di atas jentera Yamaha YZF-M1 dengan sokongan daripada pasukan Rossi.
  • Rossi dijangkakan akan kembali semula pada pusingan MotoGP di Motegi, Jepun.

Current WorldSBK factory Yamaha rider Michael van der Mark has been selected to replace the injured Valentino Rossi in the next MotoGP round in Aragon on 24 September 2017.

The 24 year old Dutch will be making his MotoGP debut on the Yamaha YZF-M1 for the very first time with the support of Rossi’s current team.

Rossi is expected to make his return at the beginning of the three flyaway races starting in Motegi, Japan.

  • Ini bermakna yang Rossi tidak akan berlumba di perlumbaan halamannya disebabkan oleh kecederaan yang dialami pada kaki kanannya semasa satu sesi latihan enduro pada minggu lalu.
  • Rossi telah dinasihatkan untuk berehat sepenuhnya selama dua perlumbaan bagi memastikan kecederaannya pulih sepenuhnya sebelum dia dapat bersaing semula.

Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) has been confirmed that he won’t be taking part in this weekend’s San Marino GP.

This means that Rossi will miss his home race due to injuries sustained to his right leg during an enduro training session just last week.

It has been advised that Rossi will need to sit out of two races to make sure that his injuries heal completely before being able to take compete again.

It is with sad news that Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) will not be taking part in the next MotoGP round which is going to be held in Misano this weekend. Due to his leg injury and successful surgery to repair the fractured bones, “The Doctor” will miss his home race which will also land a huge blow to his 2017 MotoGP championship effort. (more…)

Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha love letter is now going up for auction in an Australian online website to donate for an initiative called the “A Cure for Freyja”.

The online auction starts tomorrow on 2 August 2017 and the public has the golden opportunity to own some very rare MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 memorabilia being sold off for a good cause.

Other items such as Jonas Folger’s HJC helmet, a pair of Ohlins Racing Moto2 front fork and other great items will be auctioning off soon at www.shannons.com.au.

Remember the time when Valentino Rossi left Yamaha at the end of 2010? The nine-time MotoGP world champion got the offer to form the ultimate Italian dream team with Ducati.
