Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) akhirnya telah menamatkan kemarau terpanjang Yamaha dengan satu kemenangan penuh bergaya di Phillip Island.
Penunggang kelahiran Sepanyol itu mengemudi jentera Yamaha M1 yang telah ditala dengan sempurna itu bagi menangkis serangan penunggang seperti Andrea Iannone (Suzuki Ecstar) dan juga Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team).
Alvaro mengejutkan semua apabila dia menamatkan perlumbaan di P4 sebagai pengganti Jorge Lorenzo yang tercedera.

MotoGP: Maverick Vinales ends Yamaha’s longest losing streak!

Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) finally ended Yamaha’s longest losing streak with a spectacular victory at Phillip Island.
The Spaniard raced a perfectly-tuned Yamaha M1 to fend off the likes of Andrea Iannone (Suzuki Ecstar) and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team).
Alvaro Bautista surprised everyone when he finished in P4 as the replacement for the injured Jorge Lorenzo.

If you’ve been spending the past few hours in front of the TV watching the Australian MotoGP round at Phillip Island, you would agree when we saw that all three races from Moto3 all the way up to MotoGP were jam-packed with action and drama. MotoGP: Andrea Dovizioso gets first pole position after two years!

Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) will start today’s MotoGP round in the Czech Republic from pole position.
Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi pulled in a last minute flyer which puts him in P2.
Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) will start his 100^th premier class race in P3.

All eyes were on Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez as he set out to make a good show for his 100^th premier class appearance in MotoGP. Too bad that Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso had to steal his limelight by storming through the qualifying session which will see him starting today’s Monster Energy Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in pole position. Marc Marquez wins best MotoGP race yet!

Last night’s MotoGP race won by Marc Marquez was considered by many as one of the best MotoGP races yet.
Almost 10 riders fought in the front group and there were too many overtaking and dramatic events to count.
Marc Marquez crossed the chequered flag in first place followed by Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP).

Those of us who were fortunate enough to watch the Motul TT Assen MotoGP round last night can agree with one thing; the battles were incredible! Almost ten riders were fighting in the front group for podium contention which ended in Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez winning the epic race. (more…)

MotoGP: Jorge Lorenzo wins first ever race with Ducati!

After 18 months of struggle, Jorge Lorenzo finally took home his first ever MotoGP win with Ducati.
Finally able to feel comfortable on the Ducati Desmosedici GP18, the man put the hammer down and gave his signature win.
Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) completed the podium.

It was a race of epic proportions yesterday in Mugello, Italy. As hundreds of thousands gathered for the Gran Premio D’Italia Oakley on Sunday, the lights went off with their hometown hero, Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) leading the pack from pole position. (more…)

MotoGP: Marc Marquez wins in France; Rossi back on podium!

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) secured his third MotoGP win of the season in France last night.

Danilo Petrucci (Alma Pramac Racing) finished second as the top Ducati rider.

Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) returns to the podium despite struggling with handling and grip.

It was an ultra-dramatic MotoGP race last night at the HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France. Many events unfolded which resulted in Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez winning his third race of the season and equalising the number of premier class wins to Casey Stoner’s total of 38. (more…)

MOTOGP: Marc Marquez takes sixth straight win in Texas

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) took home his sixth consecutive MotoGP win yesterday at the Circuit of the Americas.

Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) got his groove back and finished strong in second place.

Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) gave Suzuki their first back-to-back podium finishes by finishing the race in third.

Despite receiving a three-place grid penalty which saw Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez starting the race from the fourth position, the defending champion and the Circuit of the Americas records holder showed everyone why he’s still the man to beat this year. (more…)

MotoGP: Maverick Vinales gets pole position in America

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Maverick Vinales has been promoted to pole position.

Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez did set the fastest time but will start from fourth after he was given a three-place grid penalty.

Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) completes the front row.

It was a qualifying session filled with drama at the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas yesterday as they battle it out for race position on Sunday. The MotoGP qualifying session saw Repsol Honda rider and defending champion setting the fastest lap of the day even after a rough tumble at Turn 13. (more…)

MotoGP: Yamaha wants heavier punishment for Marquez

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP boss, Lin Jarvis, wants a much heavier penalty for Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez.

Following his ‘dangerous riding’ last weekend in Argentina, Yamaha was certainly unhappy with the ‘slap on the wrist’ penalties.

Marquez’s riding caused the collisions with several riders including Aprilia’s Aleix Espargaro, Maverick Vinales, and Valentino Rossi.

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP leading man, Lin Jarvis, has called upon the MotoGP race direction to make sure that Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez is faced with a much bigger punishment following his actions throughout last weekend’s MotoGP round in Argentina. (more…)

“Marquez is destroying MotoGP” – Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi has hit hard on Marquez’s riding yesterday by saying that Marquez is destroying the sport.

The duo clashed yesterday mid-race which led to Rossi’s fall in the Argentina GP.

Marquez has been under fire all weekend especially race day for his ‘dangerous riding’ involving several other riders.

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP and nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi had a few choice words to say on the riding antics of one Marc Marquez from Repsol Honda. In a drama-filled Argentina GP race yesterday, Rossi made sure everyone knew how he feels about Marquez which he deemed as ‘dangerous’ all weekend long. (more…)
