In a touching tribute to the iconic Assen Circuit, MV Agusta has launched a limited-edition masterpiece, the Brutale 1000 RR Assen.

The Italian motorcycle giant takes pride in having achieved a staggering 35 victories on the Assen Circuit. Such achievements date back to 1976 when the legendary Giacomo Agostini clinched the win in the 350 class.

Fashioned in Italy, the Brutale 1000 RR Assen edition carries forward the spirit of these victories. The meticulously handcrafted 300 units are an ode to these memorable days. This collaboration with the Assen Circuit brings these special motorcycles to the forefront.

Boasting an array of exclusive elements, the bike is adorned with special emblems, plaques, sleek carbon fiber panels, and aluminum side plates. The blue Alcantara upholstery adds a touch of luxury, enhancing the bike’s overall aesthetics.

The unique color scheme of the Assen edition harmoniously blends Blu Nordico, Argento Ago, and gold. This combination not only exudes elegance but also accentuates the motorcycle’s meticulous craftsmanship and sophisticated technical gear.

Powering the Brutale 1000 RR is a Euro 5 compliant 998 cc inline four-cylinder engine. It delivers a robust 208hp @ 13,000rpm, combined with 116.5Nm @ 11,000rpm. With a dry weight of just 183 kilograms, the motorcycle offers an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1.1 horsepower per kilogram.

The Brutale 1000 RR Assen doesn’t compromise on suspension. It features an advanced 43-millimeter Öhlins Nix EC hydraulic upside-down fork and an Öhlins EC TTX rear shock. Both are electronically controlled to ensure maximum stability and performance. Additionally, its braking capabilities are nothing short of remarkable, with double floating discs at the front and a single steel disc at the rear, complemented by Brembo callipers.

The motorcycle’s elegance extends to its Rotobox carbon fiber wheels with an alluring blue carbon weave. These are fitted with 120/70 R17 and 200/55 R17 tires, which images suggest are the top-tier Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SPs.

Each limited-edition Brutale 1000 RR Assen will also include a Special Parts kit. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of its most iconic superbike, Yamaha has introduced the Yamaha R1 GYTR PRO 25th Anniversary limited edition for 2023.

  • Developed by Yamaha Motor Europe and its GYTR PRO Shop, this special edition boasts an array of upgrades, setting new standards for performance and specification within the R1 range.
  • Working in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Research & Development Europe (YMRE), the same team responsible for the development of Iwata brands’ World Superbike machines, Yamaha aims to bring World Superbike levels of specification and performance to the R1 series.

The GYTR Pro 25th Anniversary bike comes equipped with several standard upgrades to enhance its performance. Notable additions include a carbon sub-frame, a modified fuel tank with a lower center of gravity, and a Magneti Marelli ECU. The bike’s front end features Öhlins FGR front forks and a TTX rear shock with a pneumatic preload adjuster, ensuring more predictable handling and superior suspension.

Additionally, an underslung swingarm, previously developed for WorldSBK, complements upgraded Brembo braking calipers on both ends. Full carbon fiber bodywork further minimizes weight and optimizes aerodynamic performance.

Moreover, the bike offers the option to include the GYTR PRO Electronic System (GPES) module, an advanced electronics engine package providing data acquisition and control. Powered by a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 12-valve, 798cc triple engine, it boasts impressive performance figures. With a claimed output of 140hp @ 12,300rpm and 87Nm @ 12,800rpm, this bike offers exhilarating power. The engine is coupled with a six-speed transmission featuring MV’s Smart Clutch System (SCS) 3.0, an innovative hydraulically-actuated automatic clutch.

Vespa, the renowned Italian scooter manufacturer, has unveiled its latest limited edition creation, the Disney Mickey Mouse Edition scooter.

  • The collaboration between two iconic brands aims to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary this year.
  • The Disney Mickey Mouse Edition by Vespa is based on Vespa’s Primavera scooter model.

The limited edition scooter features a unique four-way color scheme inspired by Mickey Mouse’s signature colors of red, black, yellow, and white.

 

The yellow wheels pay homage to Mickey’s famous shoes, while the black mirrors represent his round ears. The scooter is adorned with a graphic pattern showcasing Mickey’s outline in white on both sides of the rear and front. To add a touch of authenticity, Mickey Mouse’s autograph is prominently displayed on both the saddle and the front steel shell of the scooter.

While Vespa offers various Primavera variants, the Disney Mickey Mouse Edition is available in the 50cc, 125cc, and 150cc models. These retro-styled scooters retain their original mechanical specifications, featuring air-cooled single-cylinder engines and CVT gearboxes.

Marc Marquez, a six-time MotoGP champion, has earned the title of “King of COTA” due to his unbeatable form on U.S. soil.

  • Marc Marquez wins six time in a row at the Circuit of the Americas between 2013 and 2018 earning him the “King of COTA” status. 
  • The limited-edition helmet is to honour Marquez’s amazing feat at COTA. 

Despite suffering a broken humerus and undergoing several surgeries in 2020, Marquez won at the Circuit of the Americas again in 2021. 

In honor of his winning record, Shoei has created a limited-edition Z8 helmet with an American Spirit graphic.

The special livery, worn by Marquez during the 2022 Grand Prix of the Americas, features a red, white, and blue color combination, stars and stripes integrated into the design, and Marquez’s signature number 93 emblazoned on both sides of the helmet. 

The helmet is made with Shoei’s eminent all-arounder, the Z-8 (RF-1400), which boasts extra comfort and an affordable mid-range price tag, making it a great option for road riding.

The Z-8 was updated recently with a newly improved ventilation system, a new visor-locking mechanism, and noise-diffusing, aerodynamics-enhancing Vortex Generators, making it the perfect all-rounder helmet. That said, the GP-accurate American Spirit graphic lends itself perfectly to the Z-8 model.

Shoei will release the limited-edition helmet in July 2023 with limited orders open through August 2023. The race replica will be available in sizes S (55cm), M (57cm), L (59cm), XL (61cm), and XXL (63cm) at a price of JPY71,500 (RM2.3k).

Indian Motorcycle has revealed the debut of two extremely limited edition motorcycles, the 2023 Pursuit Elite and the Chieftain Elite. Both bikes will be produced in small numbers and available for purchase worldwide.

  • Only 150 units of the Pursuit Elite and 175 units of the Chieftain Elite is produced.

The 2023 Indian Pursuit Elite will have a production run of just 150 bikes and comes in a Super Graphite Metallic and Black Metallic paint scheme with Shadow Bronze Chrome accents. It is powered by a 1,768cc PowerPlus V-twin engine that delivers a claimed 120.7 horsepower and 131 pound-feet of torque.

The Pursuit Elite boasts features such as a Fox rear suspension with electronically adjustable preload and a seven-inch touchscreen for managing the suspension. It also has a Bosch inertial measurement unit that governs traction control, ABS, and torque.

The motorcycle is equipped with full LED lighting, a Ride Command infotainment system with Apple CarPlay integration and Bluetooth connectivity, and remote-locking weatherproof saddlebags and top box.

The Indian Chieftain Elite, which will be produced in a run of just 175 bikes, comes in a Super Graphite Smoke colorway with Shadow Bronze chrome accents. It is powered by Indian’s air-cooled Thunderstroke 116 mill, which delivers a claimed 126 pound-feet of torque, and features an Adaptive Pathfinder LED headlight and LED saddlebag lights.

The Chieftain Elite has a seven-inch touchscreen powered by Ride Command, with Apple CarPlay integration and Bluetooth connectivity, and weatherproof, remotely lockable saddlebags.

The Pursuit Elite has an MSRP of USD39,999 (RM176k) in the US, while the Chieftain Elite is priced at USD35,499 (RM156k). Both bikes are expected to be in high demand due to their limited production numbers.

Indian Motorcycle fans will want to act quickly to secure one of these exclusive machines, as they are sure to sell out fast.

Attention all Tissot and MotoGP fans! Tissot has just announced the release of its highly anticipated limited edition 2023 T-Race MotoGP chronograph.

  • Only 8,000 of these watches will be made and sold worldwide, each one individually numbered.
  • The watch has a racing-inspired design, with features such as a blacked-out brake disc and caliper on the bezel.

This stunning timepiece boasts an exquisite design inspired by MotoGP racing bikes, making it a must-have for any motorsport enthusiast.

The watch features a black and red color scheme with white lettering and numbering, giving it a sleek and modern look. The front bezel displays a blacked-out brake disc and caliper, while the pushrods are inspired by the handlebars of a racing bike. The watchband is a red rubber unit with a tire-tread-like pattern on the underside, adding to its sporty design. Hero MotoCorp introduced the limited run XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition back in July 2022 and the bike was very well received by the Indian public.

The motorcycle was sold out in less than four days after the official launch, much to the dismay of off-road aficionados. 

However, due to the immense request for the motorcycle, Hero MotoCorp decided to reopens bookings for the XPulse Rally Edition. 

The Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition is a special motorcycle as it is fitted by all the necessities to make it a proper off-road machine. 

It features a long-travel suspension, dual-purpose tires and a special livery inspired by the firm’s rally machine.

First glance, you’ll notice the combination of white and red colourway to match the livery of Hero MotoSports Team Rally.

While some manufacturers tends to slap a new graphics and livery and called it a “new” edition, Hero MotoCorp dive deep to bring something new to the XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition.

Firstly, the bike’s suspension has undergone major modification, the Rally Edition features full-adjustable front fork with 250mm of wheel travel and a 10-step adjustable rear shock with 220mm wheel travel.

Also, the ground clearance is now 50mm higher and the seat now sits at 885mm compared to 825mm on the base XPulse 200. The Rally Edition also features taller handelbar, longer gear change lever and a longer side stand.

The best part is, the Rally Edition weighs just 160kgs, just 2 kilograms more than the base model.

Mechanically, the XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition gets the same 200cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine but equipped with an oil cooler. It produces the same 19hp and 16.4Nm.

Malaysian motorcyclists inspired this new and limited edition Casio G-SHOCK timepiece made in collaboration with local streetwear label Against Lab.
