Leopard Racing

Pelumba Moto3, Dennis Foggia, tekad meninggalkan Leopard Racing hujung musim ini selepas tidak puas hati dengan layanan pasukan itu terhadap ayahnya ketika di GP Austria.

Difahamkan, Leopard Racing telah membatalkan pas kebenaran milik ayah pelumba itu sekaligus tidak dibenarkan untuk berada di ‘paddock’ sebelum diusir ke tempat duduk penonton bagi menyaksikan anaknya menaiki podium, hujung minggu lalu.

Foggia kemudian meluahkan rasa tidak puas hati terhadap pasukannya kepada Sky Italia.

“Ayah saya telah dipaksa keluar dari ‘paddock, keputusan ini sangat tidak adil. Dia terpaksa menyaksikan dari tempat penonton,” jelasnya.

Foggia kemudiannya menegaskan dia enggan kekal bersama pasukan itu dan mahu berhijrah ke Moto2 musim depan meskipun masih terikat kontrak.

“Bagi saya, tiada siapa yang boleh menghalang saya untuk ke Moto2 tahun depan walaupun saya masih terikat dengan kontrak.

“Saya enggan kekal dalam kategori ini (Moto3) ataupun pasukan ini,” tambah Foggia.

Foggia telah pun beraksi selama dua musim bersama Leopard Racing dan mengutip tiga kemenangan.

Pelumba berusia 20 tahun itu kini menduduki tempat keempat kejuaraan dunia Moto3 dengan 102 mata, 94 mata dibelakang pendahulu, Pedro Acosta.

The MotoGP paddock will most likely see the entrance of a brand-new team for the 2021 season. This speculation has surfaced somewhere in Italy after reports revealed that the Avintia Racing team will leave the premier class at the end of this season to put more focus on its other divisions. Jorge Martin (Del Consa Gresini Moto3) has finally scored his first ever Moto3 victory in the final race of the 2017 season.

Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) came in second despite almost crashing out to avoid a collision with Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA BOE Racing Team) earlier in the race.

Marcos Ramirez (Platinum Bay Real Estate) completed the all-Spaniard podium with second ever podium finish for 2017.

After nine pole positions, eight podium finishes and three DNFs due to mechanical failure, injury and accident, Jorge Martin of the Del Consa Gresini Moto3 squad has finally taken his first ever Moto3 victory. After the Australian MotoGP round yesterday, Joan Mir of Leopard Racing was crowned the 2017 Moto3 World Champion after winning his ninth race of the season.

The 20 year old Spaniard made his debut just two years ago at the very same track he won the 2017 Moto3 World Championship yesterday.

The intense fight over at Phillip Island had to be stopped due to heavy rain where Joan Mir was announced as the race winner and overall champion.

Joan Mir of Leopard Racing has been crowned the 2017 Moto3 World Champion after an amazing battle yesterday. Despite the ever changing weather conditions which resulted in a red flag due to rain, the race stopped the race where the 20 year old Spaniard won the race in Phillip Island where he sealed the deal as the 2017 Moto3 World Champion. Current Moto3 championship leader Joan Mir will move up to Moto2 in 2018 to race with the EG 0,0 Marc VDS squad.

Mir and his newly-acquired Moto2 team have signed a three-year agreement to race from 2018 to 2020 in the Moto2 category.

Joan Mir and his current Moto3 Leopard Racing team is leading the championship with three race wins and two podium finishes in the past seven rounds.

The current Moto3 championship leader Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) will get a big promotion for next year after signing an agreement to race in the Moto2 middleweight category together with the EG 0,0 Marc VDS squad for 2018. (more…)

It was Joan Mir from the Leopard Racing outfit who took the second Moto3 race of the season with a stunning victory at the Argentina GP.
