Ducati is celebrating its exceptional performance in 2023 by launching a series of five collector’s limited edition Panigales. These motorcycles pay homage to the triumphs of riders Bagnaia, Bautista, Bulega, Martin, and Bezecchi in MotoGP, WorldSBK, and WorldSSP.

The lineup comprises four Panigale V4 models and one Panigale V2, all produced in a limited and numbered series, with each rider’s authentic signature adorning the tank, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. In addition to the customary features of collector-worthy limited editions, Ducati is including the technical equipment for each model, along with a wooden shipping crate.

These exclusive bikes were unveiled at the “Campioni in Festa” event, where Ducati celebrated its remarkable season and introduced the limited-edition motorcycles. Each model boasts the rider’s original autograph on the tank, protected by a layer of transparent varnish.

Among the Panigale V4s, three have been transformed into tributes honoring the Desmosedici GP bikes of Francesco Bagnaia (63), Jorge Martin (89), and Marco Bezzecchi (72) in MotoGP. These models commemorate Ducati’s consecutive victories at MotoGP in 2022 and 2023. Another Panigale V4R is dedicated to Alvaro Bautista’s (19) WSBK triumphs, marking Ducati’s two consecutive years at the top of WSBK. Lastly, a Panigale V2 pays homage to Nicolò Bulega’s (11) WorldSSP race bike, celebrating the team’s world title win in 2023.

The Panigale V4s receive notable upgrades, featuring a nine-disc STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, an Akrapovič homologated silencer (2kg lighter than the standard), new Brembo braking system, Rizoma billet aluminum adjustable footpegs, and race-grade plexiglass.

The special edition Bulega Panigale V2 is equipped with Öhlins suspension, Akrapovič racing silencers (reducing the bike’s weight by 5kg), adjustable Rizoma billet aluminum footpegs, and various carbon fiber components, including front and rear mudguards, chain guard, clutch cover guard, swingarm guard, and shock absorber guard. Additionally, the Panigale V2 dedicated to Bulega offers further customization with a number plate and mirror removal kit, along with a billet aluminum racing tank cap.

For those interested in acquiring these limited editions, the pricing is as follows:

– Panigale V2 Bulega 2023 World Championship Replica: $43,000 USD or RM210,000 (Limited to 111 units)

Delivery of these 2023 Panigale Race Replicas is scheduled to commence in July 2024.

Jorge Martin has delivered a stunning performance at Le Mans, winning the French GP sprint race and claiming victory for Pramac Ducati.

The race saw a mixture of success and disappointment for the home crowd as reigning MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia made a brilliant start and led into turn one from Jack Miller, only for Martin to take the lead by lap four.

Miller, using a medium front tyre that had caused many riders to crash in practice, suffered an early exit at turn seven.

Meanwhile, Martin’s lead over Brad Binder was up to 1.5 seconds, and Bagnaia, who was all over Marc Marquez, regained a podium spot by overtaking Marquez with a brave move at turn one.

The race was a huge disappointment for Fabio Quartararo, the 2021 world champion, who made brilliant progress from 13th to eighth prior to his crash at turn nine with four laps remaining.

Quartararo’s crash was a major letdown for the home crowd.

At the front, the top three remained unchanged as Martin took his first win of 2023, with Binder and Bagnaia completing the podium at 2nd and 3rd place.

Meanwhile, Luca Marini takes 4th place ahead of Marquez who struggled at the end.

Pramac Racing rider Jorge Martin showcased his all-new Alpinestars helmet ahead of the 2023 MotoGP season after making the switch from Shark Helmets.

  • Ducati’s Jorge Maritn has ditched his Shark Race R-Pro GP helmets for a brand-new Alpinestars lid.
  • Alpinestars is yet to released an official announcement regarding the FIM-approved helmets.

Although the Italian motorcycle gear company is no stranger to manufacturing motorcycle helmets, this is the first time that Alpinestars has designed and built a specific headgear for motorcycle racing.

Nevertheless, this isn’t the first time the new helmet appeared after MotoGP retiree Andrea Dovizioso was seen testing the pre-production model last year.

However, this is the first time the helmet has snapped in a full-finished and liveried-up version.

Although Martin’s helmet is packed with vibrant colours and graphics, the new helmet can be seen sporting a sizeable top-mounted air inlet. There’s also a large front-mounted chin mount flanked by air exhaust fitted on each side.

Interestingly, the side profile looks similar to Shoei’s X-Spirit III, although the brand’s new X-SPR Pro is replacing the former.

Unfortunately, Alpinestars has yet to release the official information regarding the new helmet, but with MotoGP to kick-off soon, beginning with the Sepang Test in February, we expect the brand to make an official announcement soon.

Terbaru, Pengarah Sukan Ducati, Paolo Ciabatti mengesahkan pihaknya enggan kehilangan dua bakat muda, Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing) dan Jorge Martin (Pramac).

Current factory Ducati MotoGP rider Jack Miller reportedly open to the possibility of returning to satellite Ducati squad Pramac Racing for 2023.

Jorge Martin produced a brilliant display on Saturday to take back-to-back pole at MotoGP season opener in Lusail Circuit, Qatar.

The Pramac Racing rider clocked the fastest time with 1 minute 53.011s ahead of Enea Bastianini (1m53.158s) and six-time MotoGP world champion, Marc Marquez (1m53.283s).

‘I’m happy. In general the weekend was not so bad.

“It’s been difficult to be consistent because we have been trying many set-ups, different mappings, but anyway, I think the pace is not bad.

“We will be one of the candidates for tomorrow, but I think we need something else to fight for the victory.

“Also the tyre choice will be crucial. Both the soft and medium are working well, but they are different and it’s something we need to understand.

“But I’m happy with this pole position and to make back-to-back poles here,” said the 24-year-old.

Riding on board the Ducati GP22, Martin was in full control, showing immense speed at the start of Q2.

Fellow Ducati rider, Bastianini who rode the GP21 – same machine used by Francesco Bagnaia last season – also displayed amazing run take P2.

Meanwhile, Marquez – despite not back to full fitness – clocked 1m53 in his frst Q2 run to take pole before he was pushed back by the rest and later improved his time again to settle at P3.

Despite came out as the fastest Yamaha rider on the grid, last season champion Fabio Quartararo will need to begin his title defence at P11.

The Frenchman endured a struggling session on Saturday after failing to secure a top 10 finished in Free Practice 3 and had to fight his way to Q2 via Q1.

Pramac Ducati’s Jorge Martin finally clinched his maiden MotoGP win at the Styrian GP on Sunday.

It was a sweet victory for the 23-year-old rider who previously missed out on four races due to a wrist injury sustained in Portugal.

Moreover, the Spaniard managed to overcome immense pressure from reigning world champion Joan Mir.

Nonetheless, the race was earlier shrouded by a red flag incident as a wildcard entry, Dani Pedrosa crashed and his KTM RC16 collided with Aprilia’s Lorenzo Salvadori.

After a thorough clean-up operation, the race was restarted with the original grid position.

Ducati MotoGP rider Jack Miller took the lead in the early stage before Martin managed to sneak through, followed by Mir.

Miller then found himself behind championship leader Fabio Quartararo in a battle for third place before the Australian lost his grip and crashed out.

As a result, Martin and Mir were left fighting for the win before the youngster took the chequered flag with a 1.5s lead ahead of the Suzuki rider.

MotoGP will return to action at the Red Bull Ring next week.

Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin will remain with Pramac Racing for the 2022 MotoGP season after agreeing on a new deal with the Ducati satellite team.

Zarco currently sits second in the championship thanks to three podium finish after six rounds of MotoGP.

The Frenchman, alongside Martin (who are directly under contract with Ducati), will race onboard the Desmosedici GP 2022 next year.

Paolo Campinoti, Pramac Racing Team Principal, expressed his satisfaction over the new deal.

“We are very satisfied to be able to continue on this “project” with Johann and Jorge, two boys with whom we get along very well and with whom we are reaching excellent results.

“Both Ducati and ourselves firmly believe in their abilities; we couldn’t be happier,” he said.

Meanwhile, Paolo Ciabatti, Ducati Corse Sporting Director, revealed the decision behind it because the two riders were able to compete at a very high level with the GP21.

“Johann and Jorge this year have inserted themselves very well in the Pramac Racing team. For this reason, together with Paolo Campinoti and Francesco Guidotti, we have decided to proceed with them into 2022.

“We will put at the disposition of both, the official bikes for next season as well. We are certain that they will provide us with many satisfactions,” said Ciabatti.

MotoGP 2021 will see three rookie riders, including Jorge Martin who will be racing with the Pramac Racing team alongside Johann Zarco. To mark his momentous occasion into the premier class, the 22-year-old Spanish rider has signed with one of the best helmet manufacturers in the business, Shark Helmets. (more…)

Ducati is set for the 2021 MotoGP season after announcing that Francesco Bagnaia will be moving up to the factory squad together with his current teammate in Pramac, Jack Miller. The 23-year-old Italian has shown very good progress on the Desmosedici GP20, good enough to secure the second factory seat. (more…)
