It was back in April 2019 when the WorldSBK intermediate class, WorldSSP, was shocked when Team Toth Yamaha reported that their beloved Yamaha R6 race bike was stolen the night before race day. Authorities came storming into their garage at the Motorland Aragon circuit, where there was obvious friction between the team owner and their ex-MotoGP rider, Hector Barbera.   • Current Pons HP40 Racing team rider Hector Barbera has been fired for a drunk driving conviction.

  • The 31-year-old was found guilty of driving over the limit in Spain last week and was handed a one-year driving ban.

  • The parting of ways between the ex-MotoGP rider and the Pons HP40 Racing team is effective immediately.

The Pons HP40 Racing Team has issued an official announcement stating that they have parted ways with their current Moto2 rider, Hector Barbera. This is due to the fact that Barbera was convicted with drunk driving earlier this week in Spain. (more…)

 

  • Tempat bagi MotoGP 2018 di pasukan Avintia Reale Ducati masih lagi tidak diisi memandangkan mereka masih belum mengesahkan sebarang penunggang buat masa ini.
  • Penunggang semasa mereka, Loris Baz dan juga Hector Barbera dikatakan tidak akan meneruskan usaha perlumbaan mereka bersama dengan pusukan Avintia Ducati itu untuk musim hadapan.
  • Desas-desus mengatakan Tito Rabat akan membawa masuk tajaan persendirinnya berjumlah sekitar €1 juta (kira-kira RM5 juta) bagi mendapatkan tempat dalam pasukan Ducati MotoGP 2018 itu.

The 2018 MotoGP seats for the Avintia Reale Ducati team are still up for grabs considering that they’ve not confirm any riders yet.

Current riders Loris Baz and Hector Barbera are said not to be continuing their race efforts with the Avintia Ducati outfit for next year.

Rumours points towards Tito Rabat who is said will bring in his own personal sponsorship of around €1 million (around RM 5 million) to get into the 2018 MotoGP Ducati hot seat.

We all know that all the MotoGP seats for 2018 are fast getting filled in with more riders being announced as of late. The latest would be the controversial signing of Scott Redding to race with the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini outfit in replacement of the outgoing Sam Lowes. (more…)

 

  • Perlumbaan MotoGP pada hujung minggu yang lalu menyaksikan Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) memenangi perlumbaan dengan begitu selesa di GP Sepanyol di hadapan pasangan penunggang pasukan Repsol Honda, Marc Marquez dan Dani Pedrosa.
  • Kemenangan ini merupakan kali pertama Ducati memenangi dua perlumbaan berturut-turut sejak 2010 ketika legenda MotoGP, Casey Stoner, masih berlumba dengan mereka.
  • Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) melintasi garisan penamat di P4 di hadapan penunggang-penunggang pasukan Monster Yamaha Tech 3, Johann Zarco dan Jonas Folger.

Last weekend’s MotoGP race saw Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) with a very comfortable race win in the Spanish GP ahead of the Repsol Honda duos, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa.

This win marks Ducati’s first ever back-to-back win since 2010 when MotoGP Legend Casey Stoner was racing with them.

Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) crossed the line in P4 ahead of Monster Yamaha Tech 3 riders, Johann Zarco and Jonas Folger.

It was a weird, unpredictable yet amazing MotoGP race weekend over at Catalunya where Andrea Dovizioso crossed the line comfortably in first place for the second time in a row on board his Ducati Desmosedici GP17. This win for ‘DesmoDovi’ marks Ducati first ever back-to-back win for the giant red Italian manufacturer since 2010 when MotoGP Legend Casey Stoner was racing with them. (more…)

According to the Reale Avintia Racing (aka Reale Esponsorama  Racing) MotoGP outfit, Hector Barbera has successful went through an operation to fix his broken collarbone which he had obtained during a training session just a couple of days back. The Avintia Racing rider suffered the injury following a crash at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo located in Valencia. (more…)

We’re currently seeing a familiar pattern in the MotoGP pre season testing sessions and that pattern is always Vinales being the fastest of them all. The weather was almost perfect apart from a few sudden gusts of wind when the 2016 MotoGP™ World Champion completed Day 1 of testing at Phillip Island with the fastest time of the day. Out of the 68 laps completed by the Spaniard, Marquez clocked in the best lap of the day on his 53rd lap at 1:29:497. (more…)
