The MT-07 will sit in between the larger MT-09 triple and XJ-6 twins in HLYM’s range of offering for the Malaysian market. At the heart of the naked lies a liquid-cooled four-stroke 689cc DOHC parallel-twin engine that offers 74hp@9,000rpm and torque rated at 68Nm@6,500rpm.

Tasked at managing all power to the rear wheel is a six-speed constant mesh manual transmission unit primed with a wet multi-plate clutch system. All this is encased in a tubular diamond frame design with a 14-litre fuel tank, offering a 140mm ground clearance and a light 179kg laden weight.
