2018 Vespa Primavera 150, Sprint 150 & GTS 300 Super Sport launched – From RM15,600

The official distributor of Vespa here in Malaysia that is Naza Premira Sdn Bhd has officially launched three exciting 2018 Vespa models. In conjunction with Sneaker-lah, the 2018 Vespa Primavera 150, Vespa Sprint 150, and Vespa GTS 300 were introduced to the stylish, modern, and young (and young-at-heart) audience.

According to Dato’ Samson Anand George, Group CEO, Automotive Group, Naza Corporation Holdings, “The new Vespa Primavera, Sprint and GTS Super Sport were crafted to perfection with style, comfort, safety and sturdiness in mind which makes them perfect for manoeuvring through the congested Malaysian traffic.”

2018 Vespa Primavera 150 – RM15,600

One of the most iconic modern Vespa to date has to be the revolutionary Vespa Primavera which pays homage to the very first model introduced back in 1968. Representing the freedom of movement among youths, it was regarded as one of the most successful scooters in Vespa’s history.

The 2018 model is no exception as it still embodies all the great characteristics of the Primavera spirit with a good dose of motoring technology embedded into the package. The new Primavera now sports a distinctive ‘tie’ feature on the front plus a chrome crest resting on its front mudguard.

To further increase the scooter’s premium looks, Vespa has also included newly-designed 12-inch five-spoke aluminium wheels for better stability, safety, and riding experience. Safety is also highlighted with the addition of new LED lighting technology found on both ends of the 2018 Vespa Primavera 150 plus a single-channel ABS system on its front end.

Powered by the modern 150cc four-stroke, single-cylinder i-Get engine, the 2018 models (Primavera 150 and Sprint 150) are able to produce 12.7hp at 7,750rpm and 12.8Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. These figures are perfect for roaming around congested city areas with style as well as ease. The Euro4-compliant engine also means that its environmental-friendly and has great fuel economy to boot.

Naza Premira Sdn Bhd has priced the 2018 Vespa Primavera 150 at RM15,600 (recommended retail price without SST, road tax, and insurance) and three new colours will be made available; Beige Metallic, Nero Vulcano, and Monto Bianco.

Vespa Primavera owners can opt to customise their scooters according to their taste with a wide range of stylish accessories that improves riding comfort such as the top box, backrest, top fairing, and chrome-plated front and rear luggage racks. Electronic anti-theft device and the mechanical saddle – handlebar anti-theft device are also available to provide riders with a peace of mind.

2018 Vespa Sprint 150 – RM16,400

Looking for a more ‘sporty’ modern Vespa? Look no further than the 2018 Vespa Sprint 150! Embodying independence, dynamic, and adventure, the youngest Vespa scooter in the series has been designed for maximum fun, stability, and handling for your everyday journey.

Similar to the 2018 Vespa Primavera, the Sprint 150 also comes with newly-designed 12-inch aluminium wheels, upgraded LED lighting technology, and a brand new cosmetic ‘tie’ on its front end. The Sprint also comes with the same 155cc i-Get engine found in the Primavera 150 which offers higher levels of stability and more importantly, reliability.

The Vespa Sprint also comes with a wide range of accessories for customisation including a dedicated top box, backrest, customised windscreen with Vespa logo and front side and rear chrome mudguards, further complemented by two-colour aluminium alloy wheels and “Sport” graphics. For added peace of mind, electronic anti-theft device and mechanical saddle – handlebar anti-theft device are also available for the Vespa Sprint.

The 2018 Vespa Sprint 150 is available from RM16,400 and there are four different colour options to choose from; Matt, Monte Bianco, Rosso Dragon, and Grigio Titantio.

2018 Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport – RM28,000

Need more power? More muscle? Well then, what you need is the biggest Vespa in today’s line-up. We’re talking about the new 2018 Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport and this is the one that’ll take you to places far and wide with no hesitations.

Injected with a huge dose of confidence, style, and status, the GTS 300 Super Sport is indeed one of the most ‘aggressive’ versions of the GTS while still carrying the same level of elegances and beautiful aesthetic features like the new tie or ‘cravatta’, dedicated graphics, and its signature black saddle.

Its 300cc single-cylinder Quasar engine is able to produce 20.9hp at 7,750rpm and 22Nm of maximum torque at 5,000rpm making it super capable of conquering long journeys as well as short stints around congested cities. Safety features have also been bumped up with its exclusive twin-channel ABS, ASR traction control plus many more.

Vespa GTS Super Sport owners can also customise their scooters with a wide range of accessories such as a painted top box, leg cover, outdoor vehicle cover, and saddle-handlebar anti-theft. For added convenience, the GTS Super Sport is also equipped with an electric remote opening system on its saddle, bike finder and USB port for easy charging of smartphones and other electronic devices.

As for the pricing, Naza Premira Sdn Bhd will be offering this baby starting at RM28,000 with a choice of two different colour schemes; Red Matt and Grigio Titanio. All models are available for viewing at authorised Vespa dealers across the country.
