No more Penang Bridge motorcycle toll IF Barisan Nasional wins

Barisan Nasional (BN) has announced their pledge to stop collecting the Penang Bridge motorcycle toll if they win the state in GE14.

The announcement was made yesterday by BN Chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak.

BN has pledged many improvements and upgrade if they retake the Penang state back in next month’s general election.

With the upcoming general election coming up next month, a lot of folks from several parties have been throwing around a lot of pledges and promises regarding their plans to make the country a better place. The latest pledge which caught our attention was the one made by Barisan Nasional (BN) in regards to their future in the state of Penang. (more…)

Isle of Man TT: Bruce Anstey diagnosed with cancer

13-time Isle of Man TT winner Bruce Anstey has been diagnosed with cancer.

The 48-year-old New Zealander is said to suffer from ‘multiple tumours in his lungs and spine.’

Anstey will most likely sit out of all road races this year in order to recover from his current condition.

Legendary road racing rider Bruce Anstey will sit out the entire 2018 road race season including the Isle of Man TT. The 48-year-old New Zealander’s partner announced the news as he’ll need the time to recover from cancer diagnosed by doctors. (more…)

2018 Honda PCX150 introduced in America – RM14,341

The updated 2018 Honda PCX150 has been introduced to the American market.

Updates include a brand new design, chassis, engine parts, transmission, suspension, and more.

The US market has priced the new PCX150 at $3,699 (RM14,341) and $3,999 (RM15,504) for the ABS version.

An updated version of the Honda PCX150 has been introduced for the American market earlier this week and it comes with a host of different upgrades including a Smart Key system. In terms of looks, it certainly looks edgier and more modern compared to the 2017 model available here in Malaysia. (more…)

2018 Kawasaki Z900 ABS now with new colour!

A brand new colour option for the 2018 Kawasaki Z900 ABS is now available for order.

The new Metallic Green Black will be available from 16 April 2018 along with the other three existing colour schemes.

The standard Z900 costs RM49,158 whereas the Special Edition is at RM50,959 (basic prices with GST).

Kawasaki Motors Malaysia (KMSB) has proudly announced that their 2018 Kawasaki Z900 ABS will be available in a brand new colour scheme. The new colour is called Metallic Green Black and will be available from 16 April 2018. (more…)

2018 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America released

In honour of the original 1975 MV S America 750, MV Agusta has announced the 2018 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America.

Each numbered model has been primed with the red, white, and blue American paint job.

The bike will be available in the UK in May at a price of £15,940 (around RM87,655).

The folks from MV Agusta have announced the star-spangled 2018 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America. This very limited edition has been launched to further promote their latest Brutale platform which now runs an updated 798cc inline-three engine which is now Euro4-compliant and punches out 140 plus 87Nm of torque. MotoGP: Suzuki wants Jorge Lorenzo in 2019?

MotoGP gossip is already burning hot with Suzuki indicating their interest towards Jorge Lorenzo for 2019.

With their patience running out with Andrea Iannone, the hunt for the perfect rider for the Suzuki GSX-RR is already underway.

Lorenzo is currently struggling to ride the Ducati Desmosedici GP18 having collected only one point in the first two opening races.

The latest rumour circulating the MotoGP paddock (besides the #TermasClash between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez in the Argentina GP) revolves one particular Spaniard rider, Jorge Lorenzo. It seems that Suzuki is already started working on a plan to get the three-time MotoGP world champion to join them for the 2019 season. (more…)

Limited edition 2018 Triumph Bonneville Spirit of ’59 unveiled

Triumph Motorcycles UK has launched two very special and limited 2018 Triumph Bonneville Spirit of ’59 models.

The special edition T100 and T120 carry colour schemes paying homage to the original 1959 Triumph T120 Bonneville 650.

Only 59 units of each model will be made at a price of £10,600 (around RM58,000) for the T120 and £9,000 (around RM49,260) in the UK.

Triumph Motorcycles is known for some very spectacular customised motorcycles over the years. This time around, they’ve introduced two very special and limited editions Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120 as part of their Spirit of ’59 campaign. (more…)

TESTED: 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS test & review

The 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS was officially launched last February paying homage to the original 1970s Kawasaki Z1 or “Zephyr”.

The main base is somewhat similar to the 2017 Kawasaki Z900 ABS but with many ‘upgrades’ from its chassis to suspension, brakes and more.

Kawasaki Motors Malaysia (KMSB) has priced it from RM67,900 (basic price with GST).

With the rising demand and interest for modern retro bikes in this day and age, more manufacturers are taking note of this by including their very own version in their motorcycle line-up. One of these manufacturers is none other than Kawasaki who recently introduced the 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS back in February. (more…)

“Marquez is destroying MotoGP” – Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi has hit hard on Marquez’s riding yesterday by saying that Marquez is destroying the sport.

The duo clashed yesterday mid-race which led to Rossi’s fall in the Argentina GP.

Marquez has been under fire all weekend especially race day for his ‘dangerous riding’ involving several other riders.

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP and nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi had a few choice words to say on the riding antics of one Marc Marquez from Repsol Honda. In a drama-filled Argentina GP race yesterday, Rossi made sure everyone knew how he feels about Marquez which he deemed as ‘dangerous’ all weekend long. (more…)

MotoGP: Cal Crutchlow wins in Argentina; Marquez clashes with Rossi

Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda Castrol) won his third ever MotoGP race yesterday in Argentina.

Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) came in second followed by Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) in third.

The drama-filled race saw many events especially the clash between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi.

LCR Honda Castrol rider Cal Crutchlow took home his third ever MotoGP victory yesterday in the Argentina GP. The battle for first came to an incredible conclusion as Crutchlow crossed the chequered flag ahead of Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and more impressively, Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar). Panigale Kingdom Mega Gathering 2018 rumbles through 3rd year

The third annual Panigale Kingdom Mega Gathering 2018 was held today at the Gold Coast Morib International Resort.

Over 50 Panigale owners from across the country gathered in Putrajaya before heading out for the family day in Banting, Selangor.

Ducati Malaysia helped mark this special occasion with a sneak preview at the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 and 1299 Panigale R Final Edition.

Supercharged 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS “MkII”

Japanese custom bike builder Doremi unveiled his supercharged 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS during the recent Tokyo Motorcycle Show.

Named the Kawasaki Z900RS MkII, the bike has been injected with even more retro styling and performance upgrades.

An MS-Sailing supercharger has been fitted to the bike along with other custom parts.

Manufacturers have long been giving away some of their precious machines to customizers before the official unveiling. The 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS was no exception and during the 2018 Tokyo Motorcycle Show, there custom Z900RS was showcased under the project “Beyond Z”. (more…)
