Aleix Espargaro has confirmed his stay with the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini for the next two seasons.

A new two-year contract has been signed which means that the Spaniard will pilot the Aprilia RS-GP until the end of 2020.

No news about Aprilia’s second rider just yet.

Just before things kick off at the 2018 HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France, Aleix Espargaro has confirmed his contract extension with the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini squad for another two seasons. After 42 years of absence from MotoGP, MV Agusta confirms their return to the championship in 2019.

A four-year deal has been signed with the Forward Racing team which will see them competing in Moto2.

The new bike will start its testing phase in July together with the new 765cc inline-three engine from Triumph.

It’s been a while since we last saw or heard the name MV Agusta being mentioned in the MotoGP universe. After over 40 years of absence, the premium Italian bike manufacturer has confirmed their return to the Grand Prix scene next season. (more…)

A patent for a 1700cc three-wheeled Yamaha V-Max has surfaced online.

The patent shows a three-wheeled motorcycle resembling the Yamaha V-Max with a wishbone-style front end.

The V-Max is one of Yamaha’s most powerful bike thanks to its 1,679cc V4 engine that produces 200hp and 167Nm of torque.

Japanese manufacturer Yamaha is the current manufacturer that’s a talking point investing a butt load of money into their R&D for high-powered three-wheeled motorcycles. While the Yamaha Niken was only recently introduced, a brand-new three-wheeled machine is already in the works and the idea sounds mental. (more…)

Travis Pastrana is planning to recreate three of the most iconic stunts performed by Evel Knievel.

Using the new Indian Scout FTR750, Pastrana will jump over 52 cars, 16 buses, and the Caesar Palace’s fountain.

A three-hour special called “Evel Live” will be broadcasted on 8 July 2018 where Pastrana plans to perform all three jumps in ONE NIGHT.

The name Travis Pastrana is nothing short of legendary with a huge dose of balls-of-the-walls craziness thrown into the mix. Known for performing motorcycle backflips as easily as how normal people would open the fridge, Pastrana is again looking into performing something super insane. (more…)

Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia has announced the Price Protection Scheme for all their new unregistered bikes.

The scheme will protect future Triumph bike owners against any price fluctuation in accordance with the new tax regimen (GST back to SST).

If prices go up, they will honour the original lower price. If prices go down, customers can enjoy the new price PLUS store credit equal to the price difference.

The SIC Racing Team has found their new permanent rider in the form of Niki Tuuli, a WorldSSP rider from Finland.

The 22-year-old started his WorldSSP riding career in late 2016 but has impressed the entire field with his results.

CEO of Sepang Circuit Datuk Razlan Razali believes that Tuuli will be able to make the SIC Racing Team competitive.

After the unexpected announcement of Zulfahmi Khairuddin prematurely ending his 2018 Moto2 rookie season, the SIC Racing Team has revealed yet another surprise in the form of his replacement rider. The Malaysia Superbike Championship 2018 (MSC) will see the TOC HKMTOYO Racing Team competing in the Superbike and Superstock categories.

A four-bike team comprises Mohd Ramdan Rosli, Muhammad Jamalul Tarmizi, Amirul Hafiq Azmi, and Nasarudin Mat Yusop.

Team TOC HKMTOYO Racing will start tomorrow’s races from P2 and P5 in Superbike and P2 and P10 in Superstock.

The newly-formed TOC HKMTOYO Racing Team is ready to set a name for themselves in the Malaysia Superbike Championship 2018 (MSC) this year. Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman will start the first round of the Malaysia Superbike Championship 2018 (MSC) tomorrow from pole position.

Riding for the Chia PJ Kawasaki racing team, Azlan stormed through the qualifying session.

The 33-year-old set the fastest time of the day on board Chia PJ’s Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

The first round of the Pirelli Malaysia Superbike Championship 2018 (MSC) is set to happen this weekend from 11 to 13 May 2018.

Many will be going after this year’s crown including last year’s champion, Muhammad Farid Badrul Hisam.

Other interesting new entries are Azlan Shah together with Chia PJ Kawasaki and TOC Automotive College.

After an extraordinary moment in Malaysia’s history, the country’s motorcycle racing series that is the Pirelli Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSC) is ready to kick things off this weekend.
